Stop worrying about liberal white women. When Islam takes over, they will naturally migrate to happiness.

That's a red herring; it was never an issue that she did it. The defense pretty much admitted it. The only issue was whether she had the mental culpability to do it.

Right, but the people standing outside of the courthouse with pink clothing on doing heart signs with their hands certainly think that she was framed, I think.

Even her lawyer admitted she did it. Anyone thinking she was framed is beyond delusional.

Again, understood. But there is a non-zero population that thinks that she didnt do it at all. Im wondering how they came to that conclusion other than the fact that a social media algorithm owned by the CCP somehow turned them (AWFULs) into hypnotoads believing that she had nothing to do with it.

There is a non zero population that thinks the world is flat. There is a non zero population that thinks the moon landings were fake. There is a non zero population that thinks Elvis is alive.

The Venn diagram for these people is probably a decent circle. Crazy doesn't limit itself to just one looney tune.

The flat Earthers & people who think Elvis is still alive are insane, but do you really think people who believe that the moon landing was a production are crazy? Because I've seen plenty of evidence that says otherwise. Californication lyrics tell you it was fake as well. But I'm sure you'll label me a conspiracy theorist even though you probably can't answer to why all of that footage was lost and we haven't done another landing despite 100x better technology. Have a good day though and BTHO Mizzou State

I would label you a nutter if you believe the moon landings were fake.

My scale for conspiracy theories and being nuts goes something like this:

Oswalt wasnt the only shooter - that's still viable, you are fine
Moon landings faked - nuts
Aliens in Roswell - ****ing nuts
Elvis is alive eating a peanut butter and banana Sammy - full on cray cray
The Earth is flat - you are insane and are a danger to society. You also have a functional IQ of 13.
The plane can't possibly take off from a treadmill - you arent insane, just ****ing stupid.

There are amazing women in all of our lives but in the macro women seem to be in really bad shape. Feminism has given them anything they want and they're the most miserable creatures who've ever lived. The left has created a death cult for decades with abortion. Now it has full turned to living breathing children.
God bless that one male juror who had the balls to stand up to this nonsense on his own.

All the anger and frustration should probably be with the commonwealth of Massachusetts and their ass backwards burden of proof laws. Absolutely wild that sanity has to be proven. It's completely backwards and gives an automatic handicap (pun intended) to someone like Clancy.

WARNING: The Lindsay Clancy trial heads for a mistrial as the jury remained deadlocked. But for Nellie Bowles of Free Press "The deeper idea being proposed here seems to be that moms should kind of be able to kill their kids. Like, if they're really, really stressed," she wrote. "In Canada, that's the law already. If a parent kills a kid under the age of 1, it's a maximum five-year sentence. We're now going to see a movement to bring that to the U.S., and also to expand it to older kids. Death cults will death cult."

They're is ZERO sane or rational justification for killing children. They're is no defending such despicable behavior. Anyone that tries to justify this has no place in civilized society.

I will not engage in debate over this. They're should be no debate. Anytime that thinks otherwise it's demonic evil.

And that reason right there is why I think we, as a nation, are still very much on track for a national divorce…

The division between two distinct ideologies is just too great to salvage…

There are more states out there that would likely have a similar outcome in this trial as MA did…because that's their prevailing demographics…

My problem with all of this is "how did we get here?"

There are things that at one time were universally accepted from everyone. And somewhere along the way we found excuses to change that. I don't understand.

I'm a very loosely religious person to the point that I'm not sure Jesus or god exist anymore. But, if they do, and they are coming back, they need to start checking their calendar for openings because this place is a ****ing mess.

Reddington tried everything he could because he knew he had his best chance at an NGRI result.

He may still get that result the second time around, but the State's trial theory and presentation will be much cleaner and tighter.

There seems to be a lot of confusion on how juries are 'selected.' Jurors aren't selected, they are eliminated. The jury consists of the first 12 people who weren't eliminated. They aren't selected. Most of it comes down to the panel that is called and the luck of the draw on where they are seated. Each side gets strikes (10 in Texas, who knows how many in crazy MA) You can strike for almost any reason, but you there are restrictions on who you can strike. The state can't strike the first ten women on the panel.

Satan. Christ is returning soon. The wheat and chaff are being separated. There is no more lukewarm. You choose Satan or you choose Christ. The result is polar opposite worldviews that contend over what should be obvious conclusions… ie. Woman murdering her 3 children in front of each other in the most intimate and gruesome way possible.

Im not convinced like you are. I hope you're right. I think we are all on our own and it will take our own to fix it. God is not coming to fix it. The longer we wait, the worse it will get. Society will only crumble so far before those like that one juror will say 'enough'. That's what is going to fix it, in my opinion. Us. Only us.

Even if she's found not guilty, she's going to a mental facility. I just don't see why there wasn't some type of plea deal. Waste of money.

There is no middle ground in this case. No avenue for a compromise. I'm very interested in what the DA does not. I don't think he re-tries this case. It could be tried 10 times. 8 hung juries and 2 "Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity ".

The only compromise I can see is LY pleading to the manslaughter charge, even though there is really no evidence to support manslaughter, and getting 10 years or so in prison with mental help while in prison.

But I don't think her lawyer would go for that.

I did not watch much of the trial and I watched none of the closing arguments, but the most damning statement she made was to the chaplain. She was still intubated so wrote the chaplain a note and her very first note after coming out of her "stupor " was. "Do I have a lawyer?"

If she could not remember the events of killing her 3 kids, why did she think she might have/need a lawyer. In closing arguments the prosecutor should have hammered that note over&over&over until the jury was sick of hearing it.
Maybe that was brought up in closing but once that note came into evidence I didn't hear it mentioned again.

They overwhelmed society because society failed to keep truth, love, and justice at our foundation. Too many have been seduced by empathy and/or have improperly equated love and empathy. These ideas are beautifully explained here although I want to be mindful not to derail this thread

The first video I posted earlier on this thread is the mechanism as to how it happened. This is they explanation as to why things fall apart. I'm not much into these events being a sign that the end is near. Humans and civilization have been in far worse places. Rather, we have an obligation to build the Kingdom on Earth, and we do so by returning to truth, love (Agape type), and justice. We live that way individually; We then find ways of articulating that to our family, our community, and our country.

Even the prosecution psych experts believed her suicide attempts were real.

The state theory of the case by the end of the trial seemed to be that it was an attempted murder-suicide. She was extremely depressed and suicidal but could not complete her suicide because her kids needed her. But, in her mind, if the kids are no longer around then no one needs her alive anymore so she could finally justify killing herself.

This happens a lot in suicide cases. Someone will view someone else being alive as an obstacle to ending their own life so they kill them first.

This is the most likely scenario to me and does not absolve her of culpability. The problem is the state could not prove this. In Massachusetts the burden is on the state to prove legal sanity. They did not do a good job of doing that and their experts faltered on the witness stand.
This is evidence of sanity in my mind. She's not hearing demons, she's drawing logical, albeit evil, conclusions.

I've never understood the logic of the insanity plea. If a person represents a certain level of danger to society, what does it matter if they're "sane?" Why should we treat the threat any differently? To that end, what "sane" person would systematically strangle their children then jump out of a window?

We put down rabid dogs.

Some people are having a problem realizing that the prosecution didn't put on a good case and were hamstrung by a bad police investigation, and they ran up against a defense attorney who was more than capable of pouncing on every single ****up the state made.

Some people are having trouble realizing there is no reasonable doubt here regardless of the lawyer report cards. It's not a law school mock trial competition; it's a determination of whether she is a murderer. She is.

Some people clearly didn't follow the trial at all and are only piling on due to what they are reading on social media. There was extensive testimony about her mental state at the time and Massachusetts law puts the burden on the prosecution to prove sanity. The prosecutors bungled and presented a disjointed, incoherent case. Their theory of the case changed mid-trial. The defense experts were better.

"Let's not follow the law and not make the state meet their burden" is just as dangerous of a mentality. The state doesn't get the benefit of the doubt, nor should they.

This was not even close to a runaway jury. Every attorney that I've seen cover this case, even based attorneys who personally believed she was guilty, thought an NGRI jury verdict was reasonable.

We clearly have a LEGAL system, not necessarily a JUSTICE system. Maybe, the prosecution screwed up. Massachusetts law put the burden on them and they failed to meet it. That may explain what you think the verdict legally should have been. It does not somehow make a NGRI outcome just.

Clancy murdered her three children. Cora was five. Dawson was three. Callan was eight months old. Where is the care and concern for them? Where is their justice? Somehow they have disappeared from the discussion while everyone debates burdens of proof, expert witnesses, prosecutorial mistakes and how good the defense attorneys were.

The state absolutely should have to prove its case, but hiding behind the mechanics of the legal system as though that settles the question of justice is repugnant. Three little children were killed by their mother. A legally defensible verdict and a just outcome are not necessarily the same thing, and this case makes that painfully obvious.

But don't let that bother you… It certainly isn't any of the other Clancy supporters.
I despise Marxists... the most repugnant people alive.
