There should be no escape clause for being deranged. You still did it. It's just a question of where you are spending your internment. Or execution.



I thought that this loophole was closed for most states in the 1970's when murder's used the insanity defense and then got out of the hospital quickly after the doctors determined that the murderer was sane. Hollywood even made movies about this.

I guess the Great Commonwealth of Massachusetts never saw the movies.

Had he been convicted then he wouldn't be allowed to be on the jury.

Of course apparently "innocent until proven guilty" doesn't matter to these leftists unless the person is accused of murdering children.

But she looked up stuff on computer and also sent husband out to the store she could kill them. She needs to be in jail for the rest of her life. She's evil killing her children and in closing statement her attorney said she was a good mom. Dang! A good mom kills her children! She's a horrible mom!

Imagine how twisted you have to be in the media to dig into the guy's background that wants to put a triple child murderer behind bars, while glazing the people that wanted to set her free as if their motivations were pure as the driven snow. There is little doubt that several people on this jury came into the trial with their minds made up to set her free or that the husband did it.
