He tried to bifurcate the trial. So essentially 1. Did she even do this? If yes, then 2. Was she insane? Prosecution said they wanted step 1 to be assumed as yes and proceed to step 2. Judge allowed it

Way too many women resent having been born a woman and being the biologically weaker sex and given to motherhood.

The rail against God and nature and seek to upturn the natural order, which has only left them miserable, or what our therapeutic society would term "mentally ill".

This woman was not psychotic. She had to suppress the good within her to be evil. The psychotics I have worked with didn't premeditatively act out - send the husband away and go to the basement (to hide from the prying public outside and maybe even the eyes of God) - they just . . . do. But to avoid the penalty her consciousness, and soul, must now repay she deceives herself that the filicide wasn't the "real me". It was the voice. It was the mental illness, it was the doctor's who were responsible for her and her actions.

And she needs society to confirm that as well.

She will be tormented the rest of her life with the sights, sounds, and smells of murdering her three beautiful children, and so tormented will appear crazy. And society will say see - she was insane.

I had to read it (and watch the movie) back in high school, and thought it made a pretty good point in establishing reasonable doubt.

The main problem with the deliberations, legally, is that a juror isn't allowed to introduce his own evidence. Like buying a knife to prove that the murder weapon isn't unique.

Can you imaging being Patrick Clancy right now? Had to deal with his wife's insanity for years. Got her family support, worked from home to help, bought her nannies, counseling, etc. Only for her to strangle his 3 young children. Then has to testify about all of it. And half the internet thinks he did it.

I don't see how he hasn't gone all Michael Douglas in Falling Down.

This has been my exact experience and observation as well. Liberal feminists are sympathizing with her bc she was crazy and the conservative women who are "Team Clancy" actually think she was set up and the husband brilliantly pulled this off and framed her, with some believing he used some sort of high-tech way to implant his voice inside her head and convince her to kill them, knowing she was crazy and could be easily controlled.

One of those very rare instances where the right is actually out-crazy-ing the left.

Luckily, I do not think the majority of right leaning women think this way. But still disturbing and very concerning. I am thankful my wife passed this latest sanity check - she wants her to fry and her heart breaks for the children and Patrick Clancy.

He remarried a (hopefully sane) chick and now has a child with her I believe. Even though it was 3 years after his children were murdered, tons of women online used this as evidence against him in a "See! He doesn't love her and didn't stand by her side!" way. Some adopted the "Well that was sure quick and convenient, he clearly planned this out to get rid of his wife and kids so he could be with another woman!" angle. Heaven forbid a man who lived though an unthinkable nightmare try to have a fresh start in life, or ease the pain in a healthy way.

I never realized how many women range from crazy to flat out ret@rded until this whole disgusting and embarrassing display. Tens of millions of sociopaths roaming around. Every time you go to the grocery store, you will cross paths with at least one woman who is bat sh** crazy and felt for LC in some sort of way. Never forget that.

I truly believe giving them the right to vote wa sa major mistake. Even though many of them vote in a way that protects this republic and our culture. It's a net negative, by far.

Pretty sure goes back to the mental hospital.

This could be the best thing to happen to the prosecution. Their presentation was horrible.

Round 2 should give them room to tighten things up and do an actual good job.

My wife was one of them except that when she saw the facts of the case she changed her mind because she's intelligent. that's the difference between right and left-wing women. when presented with evidence intelligent people change their mind.
