There are more states out there that would likely have a similar outcome in this trial as MA did…because that's their prevailing demographics…

This is probably the best thing to happen to the prosecution. They were downright awful. Had no theory and just kind of tried things.

They need to regroup, probably replace the prosecutors and actually develop a game plan.

It shouldn't be hard.

Question boils down to if there are any competent prosecutors in that office. The whole going with the girl boss prosecutor to win this case blew up in their face.

Then I have bad news for a lot of folks here…they may not be able to get a conviction on this one in MA…

If that's the case, then the state may try to work out some sort of plea deal…

Maybe they still go after Murder-1 again, but that's a helluva gap to overcome when it has to be unanimous…

I'd be willing to bet the DA's office is having that exact conversation right now (or will after the holiday weekend)…

They get a second mistrial, and they may have to walk away entirely…if they want a "victory" here, "justice" might look quite a bit different than what many of us think is deserved…

Which is why they offered up manslaughter. We all completely understand what's going on, you aren't spelling out anything that the people who started paying attention before yesterday aren't already aware of...

Reality is that MA appears to be full of ghoulish people that don't value the lives of children. Probably shouldn't be shocked but I guess I gave them more credit than they deserved.

Reddington is a horrible smug shyster. He wants the hold- out juror attacked and made an example for future jurors. There is no way of knowing whether the juror was deceitful or if he failed to comply with the jury instructions without interviewing him.

"Reddington argued the juror has made statements "acknowledging doubt" but "refuses to apply the verdict" by the letter of the law.
"Clearly, we have a person who, under their oath, stood in front of you yesterday … under oath looked you in the eye and lied," the defense attorney said.

And yet so many are completely shocked that only 1 juror in the State of MA think like they do…

This has been my point all along and why I was curious about how the jury was breaking and why yesterday…

There is a much bigger societal issue here…the elephant in the room…

As I stated before, we have become a society where emotional hysteria outweighs rational thought and facts…

See also people screaming for COVID jab mandates…

You know like abortion advocates screaming screaming "my body, my choice" out of one side of their mouth while screaming "you shouldn't have a choice about what you do with your body when it comes to the COVID jab" out of the other…

Or how about people screaming "follow the science" when it came to an unproven COIVD jab, who now scream "XY = XX if you cut of the ***** and add some hormone therapy"…

The hypocrisy of this society will be our downfall…

They were so bad, I wondered if they were throwing the case.

They had no theory of what happened or why. Basically just hoped they would convict her because of how awful the whole thing is.

Some people are having a problem realizing that the prosecution didn't put on a good case and were hamstrung by a bad police investigation, and they ran up against a defense attorney who was more than capable of pouncing on every single ****up the state made.

I think this is what disgusts me most about all this. 3 kids were killed brutally and in cold blood. Opinions can differ on whether this ***** should be locked up permanently forever in an insane asylum or women's prison but there shouldn't be a debate that she should be removed from society for life to give some measure of justice for three dead children.

Instead we have hordes of women who give two ****s for the kids and instead think this woman should be held up as a martyr.

I wonder how much the pressure increased in the deliberation room with the d-bag defense attorney putting out a statement that Lindsay couldn't emotionally handle another trial.

This is kind of a weird thing here, the defense attorney kind of sending signals to a non-sequestered jury, and then outing a juror who was dissenting by his gender. Seems kind of, well, illegal or at least shouldnt happen in an honest case of jurisprudence.

Either way, mistrial is what it is and what was expected. I hope Lindsay gets a second chance at what she failed at before, and succeeds this time; prior to the re-trial.
