Reddington is a defense attorney. How much is he getting paid? Who is paying the fees? Does the trial outcome affect his compensation? Does his wife's involvement indicate his skin in the game?

We really don't have an adjective to apply to young, white, liberal, women anymore. The usual moron, idiot, airhead, dumb***, imbecile, don't quite manage to get there.

There is something in most women's brains that cancels out logic. Unfortunately, many of them are in significant governing positions in our country, which doesn't bode well for the future.

Well here's a perfect argument for doing everything you can to get out of jury duty next time you are summoned. Go along with the mob or be subject to a smear campaign, doxxing, attempts to destroy your life, etc. This is complete insanity.

Why the hell does this concept of Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity even exist?

It should be

Guilty - life in prison or death penalty where applicable
Guilty by Reason of Insanity - life in a mental hospital/prison or execution if you choose it (my opinion)
Not Guilty

There should be no escape clause for being deranged. You still did it. It's just a question of where you are spending your internment. Or execution.

Yeah. Some tv station pulling out restraining order, eviction etc.
Don't know if charges dropped etc. There angle is that he lied on juror questions.
No one will ever want to serve on a juror, and no one except communists that rich oligarch like will run for office.

I'd even argue that someone who is "insane" should be treated as a much greater threat to society going forward.

The person who killed and knew it was wrong at least has a conscience that might prevent a future occurrence.

A crazy person doesn't have a conscience and should never be allowed in public again.

Women have a pathological obsession with "true crime" stories. They make up virtually all of audience of true crime podcasts.

Wife of a coworker is obsessed with true crime, pretty much all she reads/watches/listens to. At least she thinks Clancy deserves to be locked up for life.
