I was dismayed by the amount of deranged females going to bat for Lindsay and having zero sympathy for the husband, whose children were brutally murdered while he was running errands for his crazy wife. With many even blaming him.
But to see this from fellow male conservatives on Texags...we are cooked as a culture and society, it's just a matter of time. To be honest, we may deserve to collapse...when supposedly conservative, God fearing males start adopting such a skewed version of justice, and start blaming or shaming the ultimate victim, who had to juggle job, three children and a wife who was constantly bouncing from therapist to therapist and doctor to doctor...hard reset may be needed.
I don't blame God one bit if he decides to heap fire and brimstone upon us.
In what way do you think justice is being skewed? Are you under the impression people are claiming he deserves what happened? That he bears primary responsibility? He bears some responsibility in that he had an obligation to protect his kids and allowed them to be around a person that said the thought about hurting them.
He is not the ultimate victim. His kids are the ultimate victim. His number one responsibility was not having a job. It wasn't making his wife comfortable by hiring a nanny. It wasn't turning her into a mental health project ushering her from therapist to therapist making sure she was okay. It was ensuring his kids are safe and he did not do that job.
His wife's actions didn't come out of the blue. She had to go to multiple therapists, was open about what was happening in her head in that she told him that she thought about harming his kids and then he asked the person talking about hurting his kids whether or not he needed to protect them from her rather than making that decision himself. Someone, anyone, says they think about hurting your kids you don't ask that person whether or not they need to be protected from them.
He radically failed in passivity. He didn't fulfill his responsibility. He doesn't deserve what happened.
