What I fear are shallow writers that'll put masculine traits into the sister characters turning them into action hero Mary Sues(i.e. Rey Palpatine). They had their own armies/warfare and they used men for them. They kill 300 pound goliaths with the voice not with black widow style scissor kicks(see freaking Dune). Yes they had their weirding fighting style but that was the last resort for personal survival, not the first weapon to get what they want.

Technically speaking, the only characters with more screen time in the book are Paul and maybe Jessica. She has a speaking part in every chapter.
Mark Strong will play a part in the HBO Max Dune: The Sisterhood series. A Harkonnen perhaps? So far the series has formed a great cast. #Dune pic.twitter.com/bGV11cYNcB

I seriously doubt these writers are sticking too closely to any of that. A really smart team is behind the series, including Villeneuve himself, and I'd be shocked if he isn't holding this to the same standards as everything else he's involved with.

Austin Butler's charisma has me super excited for his role as Feyd-Rautha. The 3 biggest castings of the second part - Butler, Christopher Walken as the Emperor, and Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan are all so impressive, especially considering the cast that's already on board and the very little we've seen of characters like Javier Bardem's Stilgar, who is my favorite guy in the books.TCTTS said:Austin Butler on DUNE Part Two and working with Timothee Chalamet while talking with @joshuahorowitz #dune pic.twitter.com/r8PtIVVx77

Ditto. Sort of my fault. She watched it blind with no background from me.SpreadsheetAg said:Max Power said:

I did. She was like, "That was long and I had no idea what was going on..."
Sigh.
