Yep, 100%. That's what I meant with the Josh Green adjustment in the second quarter. The Jazz tried to hide Rudy on Green who would usually just camp out in the corner thus allowing rudy to float as a free safety defender. Kidd decided to eliminate that possibility by utilizing Green as the fulcrum of their high screen offense which force Rudy to either switch or drop (both outcomes were positive for the Mavs).

Was always one of the smartest players on the court, just has had to learn how to do that from the sideline as well. Seeing things before they happen when you can actually feel the other team is a lot different than trying to make those same calls from a distance. He's really made that transition, and the combination of years doing both is invaluable.

And his success rate calling plays out of a timeout is ridiculous.

That was our bench tonight.
Underrated part of them showing up, is it meant our starters got to stay under 40 minutes too. Bullock and Finney-Smith had been logging closer to 44 minutes in the first 2 games.
