If you haven't been following X or Tik Tok, then you're not seeing the insane response from tons of women. They are blaming everyone except the woman. It's not just feminists, I have seen tons of supposed conservative women doing the same thing. The amount of women not doing this has been like 5% of women.

Mental illness is not an excuse to murder. Many men are mentally ill and they get life in prison or execution. That is what this woman deserves.

Also, it's clear more than ever that we need to repeal the 19th and that women should not be allowed to be judged.

Went to my doctor for my annual physical. Mentioned I've had a ringing in my ear for a few weeks. Her first response, go see an ENT. Her second response, we can try SSRIs. For ear ringing……..

One way to view that as a positive is a bunch of women are actually talking about the negative effects of these psych medicines that doctors are over-prescribing.

For example, when someone is prescribed Prozac it can take years to effectively wean them off of it without significant side effects.

IMO this is one of those rare cases where there's a reasonable belief that she was legally insane at the time of the murders.

Don't worry, they'll have a pill for the side effects too. Crazy stuff.

It does matter if she was insane or not at the time. For hundreds of years going back to English common law we have not held people legally responsible for crimes they commit when they cannot appreciate what they are doing as being right or wrong. The legal standard that she has to meet here is very high and I don't know whether or not she will get there, but she has one of the best cases for insanity I've seen in a long time of watching trials.

IMO she needs to be in a psych facility for an extended period of time but considering this was postpartum psychosis exacerbated by medication, they would probably let her out within a few years if not sooner. If I'm not mistaken, in Massachusetts I think a judge has to actually sign off on her release which would likely not be granted on the first try.

Sorry, this may sound inhumane, but anyone who does something like this should be given a bible and access to a minister for two weeks and then this treatment on the final day. They need to know that they are dying soon and that they have one final chance to at least get right with The Lord.

Insanity or postpartum psychosis should never be an excuse for murdering anyone, especialy your own children. Instead, the taxpayers will fund the entire remaining balance of her life. Not fair to society.

Clinically insane killers must still die. But she needs to be given a few weeks before execution to get right with God so she has a chance of being reuinited with her babies THAT SHE BRUTALLY MURDERED.

Their last memories are horrific beyond anything we can possibly imagine. I have never had a nightmare half as terrifying as my mother brutally killing me and my siblings. She needs to pay and has proven she can NEVER be trusted to function in society again. A certain level of trust has been broken.

Some of yall need to stop watching The View and the Don Lemon podcast. It's warping your brains.

Yep, I saw sympathetic posts on instagram from a few conservative ladies I know and thought "wtf am I missing"? I genuinely assumed maybe there was some new evidence that could have dropped, indicating that she was not the killer (I have not been following this case closely at all).

If this was a father, even if his meds did make him insane, EVERYONE would want him buried 50 ft under the ground.

A good friend who's very conservative and reposted a Instagram video basically blaming the husband and the legal system that was set up by men to benefit men. She was in a very toxic relationship and her husband stole from her so she is projecting her experience in this case

Very few conservative women are not highly vulnerable to being emotionally hijacked into adopting ret@rded, nonsensical positions, if you really target them.

Psychosis is a real thing and wasn't invented by daytime TV talk shows. This is a woman with no history of violence, no criminal history, excellent work history, by all accounts loved and cared for her kids. A typical, normal mother of three.

Either she's the most subtly manipulative and evil woman on the face of the planet who concocted a scheme to pretend to have psychiatric issues in an effort to eventually get away with murdering her three children (including jumping out of a high window and ending up partially paralyzed) or she had a psychiatric/psychotic break and did something completely out of character that she would have never done if she were in her right mind.

As a society I think there are deep questions as to what to do with someone who has a psychiatric break like this. Personally I think she needs to be in a long-term facility.
ErnestEndeavor
How long do you want to ignore this user?
And I think one of the reasons all these women are coming out in support of her is because she was actively trying to get help for her postpartum depression. She tried to check herself into an inpatient facility and even called her psychiatry office to get advice on what to do when she was having intrusive thoughts. In their mind, she didn't get the help she needed.

Given how many meds she was prescribed in a very short time I don't know that I disagree with that assertion. I just think this is a terrible situation any way you look at it.

I know. I am sorry, it is unfortunate, but just not an excuse to me. If you go crazy enough to kill your own chidlren, you have broken all trust and can never be trusted again. Honestly, there is really no point in living anymore anyways after doing something like that.

Honestly, imagine waking up from a psychotic episode in which you butchered or drowned your own children. Anyone who wants to keep living is diabolical to begin with. A person with any conscience whatsoever says their prayers then kills themselves.

Are you female? Just curious.

Why not send her to a mental facility for a time, figure out wtf is wrong with her (is she still on psychoactive drugs?), then ship her to the big house? Someone that would brutally kill her kids probably doesn't need to be dumped into the general prison population without making sure she isn't a danger to herself or others.

During the trial, the prosecution established this woman had enough wits about her to send her husband on various errands the day she chose to murder her children. If she carefully planned the murder, then it would not matter to me whether she is insane. My sympathy is for the dead children and the grieving relatives who did not kill them.

Also...Why does she even want to live at this point? Speaks volumes about her.

What kind of POS wakes up from a crazy spell where they strangle their poor children to death and fights like hell to keep on living life?

Ok, since I've been watching the trial, I've changed my mind and thinks she is guilty. After seeing the kids. However, all of the YouTubers I've watched still seem to be on her side, even Lawyer You Know. Forget Melanie Little. Everyone seems to hate the prosecutors and love the defense attorney and thinks the defense is winning. Surprisingly, except for Jen Coffindaffer.

But I think that since it in Massachusetts, it's going to be difficult to prove her guilty with the low bar they have.

I've watched a lot of it & it's a sad case for sure. Was there ever a plea bargain offered? Seems like she should have taken it if so. If I was on the jury, my main problem would be that. Was she hoping for sympathy & perhaps a short stay in a mental facility?

Also, I see why people like Reddington but I'm pretty turned off by his body language at the defense table - overly dramatic & distracting: the head in hands, the closed eyes, the finger drumming on the table, the hand holding & shoulder rubbing with his client & really, the fact that the judge doesn't crack down on him/her with the sobbing & stopping the procedure over & over. I get she's upset, but she had to know that autopsy reports & other hard to face issues would come in - they do at every murder trial. That stuff would bother me if on the jury.

I did not realize this. Good on her. Tells me she at least has a soul and a functioning conscience. Unlike the evil women in your political peer group who were gleefully applauding the passing of bill the other day signing full-term abortions into law.

But if you believed the lights just went out peacefully and there was no pain, you would want to still keep living after waking up from a fever dream in which you strangled your poor children to death? Weird take. I will never understand atheists. Atheists support so many freakish, degenerate and ghoulish things and are completely confused by the basic centuries old concept of gender. So hyper-intelligent in their own minds, all because they believe the entire existence of the universe came into being from absolutely nothing, because "magic n shiiii". Meanwhile, you all seem to want more muslims here. I just can't with atheists (there are a few conservative ones who are normal and have their head on straight, as there are exceptions to just about everything in life).

How do you reconcile the "fact" that she can just say "sorry Jesus, my bad"…and she gets to go to the same heaven as everyone else. Seems f'ing stupid, no?

And your strawman about Muslims was impressive but I'll bite. Islam, like every other religion in the world, is a complete joke so no, I don't "want more of them here."

A couple things that the insanity plea people can't reconcile. And keep in mind this is philosophical, not letter of the law. Obviously there are stupid laws we disagree with.

The first is this was clearly planned out. She sent her husband out of the house, knowing she'd have close to 30 minutes to kill the kids. Then she called them down the basement one by one and murdered them in an extremely terrifying and depraved way.

Then, she tried to kill herself, probably to free herself of the guilt of killing her kids. If she was just a crazy person who wanted to be freed of the voices in her head, why not just try to kill herself without killing the kids?

Finally, if you argue the depravity and illogic of it is proof that she was insane, then that leaves open the interpretation that any murderer has an insanity case.

If there were ever an obvious case of "remove this person from society forever in any way possible," this case is it.

LOL, a complete over-simplification of scripture, obviously by design because you are so riddled with hatred and probably self-loathing that you don't have an honest bone in your body. You are completely free to read Jesus's parable of the workers in the vineyard and think it's "f'ing stupid". But no one believes salvation is just "Jesus, my bad". Not Catholics or Protestants.

This type of matter is extra special because it's hard to argue she was in control of her mind...she was obviously in a purely psychotic state.

Brah, trying to put yourself into the mind of a complete schizophrenic or someone in a psychotic episode is a fools errand. Throw all logic and reason out the window. We also need to realize these states don't just last 2-3 minutes. It can be days, or more...so it's not surprising at all that she operated as if it were a calculated mission that she could not fail no matter what.

My wife's cousin had a psychotis or manic meltdown in grad school at Stanford just a few years ago. You would not believe the things she was saying on social media for all the world to see. Sometimes it made sense but was extremely dark or lewd, and sometimes it may as well have been gibberish. This was about ad prim and proper, intelligent and well mannered of a girl you could imagine. That's basically my point. We know for certain she planned and carried out the murder of her children. That's enough to say she can't walk among peaceful people for the remainder of her life.

The lawyers and defenders of the insanity plea want to psychoanalyze these people, which is basically pseudoscience. We have to judge actions and decide if those actions are compatible with polite society.

That's crazy...I follow diff Christian influencers who actually go by the Bible. I do believe salvation is open for all...even the likes of Jeffrey Dahmer. In fact, I know a man who ministered to him for an extended period of time and he was convinced that he became a true believer and fully repented.

I just get a kick out of atheists acting shocked over the Christian concept that anyone can be forgiven. It's the whole premise and essence of NT scripture and liberal atheist male feminists who don't know what a woman is act shocked every single time.

This is "good news" to everyone without a blackened heart.
