Defense has been bad again these last games.
Let's at least give our Cunningham/Pondexter minutes to Lonnie while Marco is out. Maybe even DeMar can take his spot with the Austin team for a couple of games.

Definitely a disappointing game but really cool to see Tony back and the love that he got. It's just not right seeing him playing against the silver and black.

There have been a ton of Ricky tack fouls called on the Spurs tonight. We've managed to cut it down to single digits despite not playing well and the mavs shooting lights out the first half.
Needed that one. Weird game. Hopefully this gets DeMar going.

Hopefully he finally shot himself out of his funk. Knocked down some big jumpers in the 4th.
Really strong effort from the bench tonight. Patty, Davis, and Marco went a combined 11-23 from 3. Also, Poeltl needs to play more. Does a lot of things that don't always show up in the stat sheet, but has a big impact on the game.

I think I heard that the Spurs are 14-21 without Rudy the last two seasons.
I have said it many times he is the spurs best player and is better than some of the alleged superstars of the last 10 years

Spurs could be tied for 4th in the west with a Portland loss tonight which is pretty remarkable considering we just lost 3 of 4 straight before we won two straight.
I thought it was a pretty good team win playing without Demar on the road. Lamarcus wasn't having a great night but he kept battling. Marco had a good night. (Where is the guy that said that was a bad signing?) Derrick made some rookie mistakes toward the end but Pop stayed with him.
I mean, I know the T-Wolves are a soft team but they have some studs. It's good to get the win.

I feel bad for Aldridge. He's working his ass off. He isn't getting any help. Over the last handful of games the spurs have turned the ball over a lot and keep getting outworked on the boards. They keep can't keep digging themselves into double digit deficits and expect to win. DeRozan, Forbes, and Patty aren't shooting the ball well. But DeRozan especially just kills any momentum we have in most of these games.

Turnovers killed us in the last two minutes. We didn't even get a shot off on several possessions. Derozan got to the rim a couple times and never could finish. Very disappointing loss for sure.

Rudy fouled twice on 4 point plays in the fourth. Defense was terrible this game.
FWIW I thought DeMar should have been in the last play if only to throw the defense off. It was obvious we were going for the win with that lineup.

Spurs settling back into that November defense nicely. There's talk of us being interested in Stanley Johnson, Tristan Kardashian and Alex Burke. I'd be on board with Johnson. We need a wing who can play defense desperately.

I'm not a fan of the trade. I've always liked Conley and thought he'd fit in well with the Spurs, but we'd give up a young piece in Murray and I don't think we're any closer to contending with him.
