Unless Rudy plays next game and we play better defense, I think we can chalk the next game in OKC up as a loss.
BTW OKC has the toughest remaining schedule in the NBA. I think they are a good team, but it'll be interesting to see how much they fall.

Seriously though, I knew this 3 game stretch would be tough with the 2 road games and the back to back sandwiched in between. It will be tough to win in OKC but you never know with this team and this coach.

Yea there's always a chance. And the Spurs will have a full day of rest. But the Thunder will be amped at home. I think it's going to be very hard for us to score on them.
Will also be interesting to see how bad Adams' ankle injury is. He didn't look very good at the end last night. But that was a hell of a game last night from our guys after that grinding, physical Memphis loss.
Frustrating that it was that close while we were raining 3s on them, but they had a rotational guy do the same to us, and most of our shots were good, open looks from 3 point shooters who are HOT right now. For a defensive juggernaut (and OKC definitely is) to have that many go against them in varying ways was definitely affirmation that our offense is truly lethal this year.
Our defense? Still an issue. But there's definitely progress there, and missing Rudy means we're missing length that can guard multiple positions for us. If this whole team can continue to gel and stay healthy, I don't think any team really wants to face us come playoff time.
And LA. Holy carp. What a performance from him. Seriously. What. A. Performance. Kudos to the big man. He deserves to enjoy every bit of that 50 point game, especially when you consider how close he was to leaving this franchise.

At the end last night we were playing with LA and 4 guards (Demar, Derrick, Bryn and Patty). Rudy would have helped tremendously with rebounding and defense. Derrick and Bryn play big but they aren't big.Pendragon12 said:

Spurprising first half by the Spurs. They are up 9 but the thunder are very lucky they aren't down more. We have missed tons of open threes.

This was their 3rd game in 4 nights with 2 games on the road and a double OT game in between. I think some of you have the perception that the team can play perfect every night.
I mean I'm disappointed when they lose but it's an 82 game season. These young players have improved but now they have to learn to win on the road.

Wtf is derozan trying to back down Batum? Makes so sense. LaMarcus should be feasting against this team but has barely worked in the block at all.
I think it's just a given whenever we have an opportunity for a go-ahea bucket DeRozan will just turn it over. 2 in a row. Unbelievable.
Demar still not shooting great. We miss Rudy's size and playmaking. They're giving up size with Mills and Forbes on the court.
