Defense has been terrible the past month. Spurs has given up 100+ points in 12 straight games. Looking like it will be 13 tonight.

The Spurs have one of the best offenses in the league and a very average defense. Last night 3s weren't falling.
I'd definitely like to see more of Walker. He has the length to at least bother the other team. They also clearly missed White last night.

I'd love to see Walker too. I think he has the ability. The only problem is he's not comfortable in our system yet. For that reason alone, if we are trying to win games, he probably won't see much time.

I watched. Easily one of the worst defensive games I've ever seen from an NBA team (if you can call us that last night). It was astonishing our timely baskets were keeping it close in the first half.
We had guys running into each other and falling down, Pop was visibly irate throughout the game and many times there was an open warrior because we would have 2 defenders locking up 1 guy as the warriors would get into their offense. It was really bad. Then, for the warriors to go 24-25 late was insane.

I think last night shows how important LA is for our defense. Not just his play, but his communication and quarterbacking.

The spurs have a really good chance at not making the playoffs. They will definitely be out of the top 8 after this road trip. Lakers have LeBron back. And the Kings are going for it. They are lucky the clippers made that trade because it could be worse.
Spurs are playing a triangle and 2 against the Jazz. Still same terrible defense. It's really becoming embarrassing. Our coaching staff has no idea what to do and you can see it.

That's true. But even with those guys we've been giving up well over 100 every game. Our D has been bad since our good run in December.

Not a fan of selling off everyone to tank, but even if we did it's bit a certainty that we could get high enough to draft him, and he's a knee injury away from being Dejuan Blair.
Nobody is giving up zion for derozan and Aldridge
