This team's defense is atrocious. Stupid, lazy and undesciplined. I'm beginning to think that the defense in those winning streaks was just plain luck.

With a loss tonight, the Spurs are almost certainly going to get the 7th or 8th seed. We still have two away games @ Cleveland and @Washington before coming home to play Dallas. If we can't win these three games, we deserve to be the 8th seed. The Spurs are just about guaranteed to get the 18th (8th seed) or 19th pick (7th seed). Unless the Raptors rest players and drop some games, the Spurs will also almost certainly have the 29th pick. Time for RC to work his magic.

Edit: Didn't realize that Boston and Indy both have 32 losses. So I guess technically they could finish worse than the Spurs, but I don't think it's likely.

OKC doesn't have the easiest schedule. Still playing MIN, HOU and MIL. If we can close out these last two remaining games against the bottom feeders we have a good chance of securing the 7th seed.

It's a good sign that he scored 16 points in the 4th qtr that night. The Spurs have a chance to have a really deep back court next year if DJ comes back completely healthy.

If the Spurs win their final game against Dallas on Wednesday and either LAC or OKC lose just one game, The Spurs will get 7th. If both lose one game, Spurs will get 6th. OKC has HOU and MIL (still playing MIN). Clippers have GSW and UTA.

I think #2 is still in play for HOU if Denver loses tonight.

In all likelihood it's going to be DEN/HOU or HOU/DEN in the first/second round for us. Just a matter of which will be first (in the slim chance we advance).

I'd rather get the 7th to have a slightly better draft pick.

If the Rockets pull out tonight's game, it looks like the Spurs will play Denver in a 3-6 match up if we can beat the Mavs tomorrow. If we lose we can still get between 6-8 depending on the outcomes of LAC and OKC tomorrow.

So Houston lost their last game of the season they are currently at 3.

OKC is currently at 6 and plays at Milwaukee tomorrow. Figure the Bucks would sit their star players as they have locked up the best record.

Denver at 2 and plays Minnesota at home tomorrow. They should win that.

Spurs at 7 and if they win will play Denver in the first round. Dirk officially retires so expecting the game tomorrow against the Mavs will be tough.

Looking at Wades and Dirks last home game highlights. What's a double edge sword is that our super stars last games were during the playoffs where they were trying to help their team win a game/get eliminated with class. I wish I could have seen a Tim backyard pick up game style of going out and the same for Manu.
Now I know the Spurs way and that might not have happened. But seeing the joy and other emotions on Dirks face, that would have been fun to see with our guys.
Big Dirk fan and Wade can pound sand.

Denver can choose their fate. If they want to play the spurs and secure home court for the second round they go for the win tonight. If home court doesn't matter and they think they match up better against the thunder, they try to lose. I would think they would want the former.
