The Spurs are apparently high on Metu. They signed him to a 3-year deal. It's the first long-term second round signing since Dejuan Blair. He would give us a lot of flexibility at the 4/5 if he pans out. He's got a decent jump shot. He looked really smooth at Summer League.

Spurs have shot over 40% from three in both preseason games so far. Hopefully that's a trend that will continue this season.

Man this sucks. I remember during the draft people said he fell so far down the board because teams were worried about the torn meniscus (which he just re-tore). It's really sad. He's a good kid from a rough place. I hope he can still have a career.
