Yup but the spurs need to rebound the ball this game.
Got hosed by the officials in the 4th. Still had no business being on that game with the embarrassing rebounding though.
I don't know how rockets fans are use to Harden holding the ball then take a step back 3 the majority of the time. Yes he can make them but there are times when he goes cold and still tries like 3 more times in a row. I know it's D'antoni style but it's cringeworthy.
-14 in rebounds and -19 in second chance points.
Well the Spurs get 3 days off which they haven't had since mid November. Get some rest then play Denver twice, clippers and Boston before the new year. Will be a good test.

Was there, Spur rebounding, lack thereof was atrocious. LA's backside will feel pretty raw given the raping Capela gave him tonight. Coming out lethargic in 3Q was on Pop, essentially cost us the game down 14 so quickly after taking a small lead into half.

Really good win over Denver tonight. Defense looked solid, rebounding was better, ball movement was crisp. Only shot about 30% from 3 or we would have really run away with it.
It is what it is. Spurs are in a rebuilding season whether you like it or not. There are going to be some ups and downs. All of us knew this would happen eventually.
They played a really good 4th qtr. Nuggets bench made it look closer than it actually was. I really like the way Poeltl is playing.West Texan said:

The Spurs rebuild looks a lot more like a regroup compared to most orgs. These guys have been playing top 5 defense over the last ten games. They lead the league in 3pt % and lowest turnover rate. So many young guys coming around to go with the two all stars and Gay who could be the 3rd best player on any championship team. These next couple weeks will be interesting.
Btw, Kawhi comes to town on the 2nd. You think the crowd gets fired up for that one?

Nice to comeback in the game but you got to make your free throws. If they make it the Spurs win. Also, I knew Demar goes in and out of shooting but this guy disappears at times.

White looked great tonight. With Patty settling back down into his worthless role, he will be really important for us.
I also think the NBA should have some sort of penalty for an intentional kickball when the shot clock is dead at the end of games. Like a 1-FT Technical.
Very good bounce back win last night on the road against a good team. LA was dialed in from the opening tip, Derrick White continues to improve and the team had 27 assists.
The spurs have been playing excellent basketball. We even had chances to win in our most recent losses where we got killed on the glass. Our differential is 4th best in the west. It's one of those weird instances where we are playing much better than the record indicates. Good test against a strange Boston team tomorrow.
If you look at the records over the last 10 games you will see that some of those teams that were playing well early are starting to come back to earth and others like the Spurs and Rockets are starting to turn it around.

Fantastic win tonight after a 3rd quarter scoring explosion against a solid Celtics team. Bertans' shooting is so satisfying to watch.
I'm this close to getting a Derrick White shirt. He does so many great things, and his defense has really come as a huge surprise. It's looking like the game is really starting to slow down for him.
And the effort of the entire team on defense was really good tonight. You could see them really trying to close out on 3 point shooters.
Edit: The Poeltel/Aldridge experiment failed, however. Bertans fits in much better with Rudy out. At some point they will have to choose between Poeltel and Gasol coming off of the bench. I think Gasol will have to take on a towel waiving role.

I agree. Poeltl has been playing pretty well and except for passing and the occasional 3 pointer is an upgrade over Pau.Enzo The Baker said:

I really like the way all of our young players are playing right now.
