Texas A&M adds former Washington CB Jordan Shaw via transfer portal
The Aggies continue to add to their 2025 roster via the transfer portal this offseason as defensive back Jordan Shaw has announced his intentions to continue his college football career at Texas A&M.
A 6-foot-1, 175-pound native of Los Angeles, Shaw is the 12th portal pledge for Mike Elko & Co. during this window and comes to Aggieland after spending 2024 at Washington.
Out of St. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy, Shaw signed with Indiana out of high school. In one season with the Hoosiers, he played in four games, made two starts and thus used that campaign as his redshirt year. From Bloomington, he jet-setted back to the West Coast to play for the Huskies, where he started eight times this fall while playing in all 12 games. He logged 35 total tackles, four tackles for loss, a fumble recovery and six passes defended. Some of his top performances came against Michigan, USC, Penn State and UCLA in the back half of the season.
Shaw comes to Texas A&M with a versatile skill set that could see him fit in the rotation at corner or at the nickel back spot.
