I feel like this bodes poorly for our upcoming January transfer window. I doubt FSG is wiling to invest any more if they are interested in selling at this point.
I feel like this is kind of a BS move by FSG. They wouldn't have considered selling if Liverpool were at or near the top of the table. I think they realize that the team needs a mini rebuild/reinvestment and they've convinced themselves to just move on. Greedy soulless quitters.

Hendo is their senior leadership figure at this point. He might play considerable minutes, idk, but I think it's understood that he's there to provide stability and leadership.
Hendo is the unofficial captain of the England squad. He's a leader of men. Kane just wears the armband because he's their best player. He'll get a few minutes. He's still one of their better ball carrying midfielders and can play defensively as well, but he's there for leadership no doubt.
We have a variety of teams to root for, plenty of players going.

For some reason I think it's assumed Thiago isn't going to be named on Friday.
I think he hasn't been called up since the Euros.
