We are watching the West side near the new Walmart.
I understand a new Highschool is in the plans near that area. 47-Villa Maria-Jones-Leonard around the Expo Center.
It is in our 5 year plan if the area develops like we think it will.

I do remember that there were numerous DDs coming to town in the next "5-10 years" or something, and Brazos Co. is considered a "reserved market". So a DD in Bryan isn't unexpected (plus, they got a Starbucks in Tejas Center a decade ago).

Seems like the TSC folks told me a few months ago that they were expanding into the adjacent space.

Had a meeting with the city and was told it was a done deal, along with the other businesses mentioned. They would not release any information on who was interested, but not committed to the other spaces or pad sites.

As for being next to TSC, it honestly looks like it will be a separate storefront, otherwise there wouldn't be tarps over the storefronts. If it were expanding, they'd probably renovate the interior and then rearrange the signs in front.

What about on the opposite side of 2818 and Villa Maria? I remember talk of several restaurants and a CVS or Walgreen's there.
What about the space near Freebirds and Marble Slab? Had someone ask me today.
From what I understand a CVS is still going on corner of Villa Maria and 2818, but they are waiting for all the construction on the overpass to get finished. Bryan is in serious negotiations with several retailers for the west side of town.
Vista College is going next to TSC.

Just checked their Facebook page. Its true. Stated reason is to focus on the places in the mall. Facebook blurb asked to let folks know that yes, Primo is closing.
Well criminy, I hate to see a local business close.
And they made a great pie and rolls.
