Clover sprouts, easy to do at home. Did it in the '70s. Pretty sure I saw some at Navasota HEB recently... at least some sort of sprouts not typical to our marketplace.

Café Eccell said they were looking for a new location around the time they closed the original. Whether this actually pans out is unknown, but I'm putting on there until a location is announced. If time goes by with no Eccell anything in sight, it will be removed.

Someone told me today that Chick-fil-A, Jack in the Box and several other fast food restaurants were looking at the area near the new Walmart in Bryan. Does anyone know if this is true?
Forget where, maybe here, but I've seen stuff 6ish months ago about chicfila on the East side of 2818 by the Walgreens and Jack in the crack out front of Walmart along Villa Maria.
I hope it is true about Chick-fil-a and others. I work about 5 minutes away from there. They need more choices on that side of town. Wings is about the only thing there except for Popeyes and Subway. Last time I was at Wings at noon, it was so full in there, you couldn't turn around. Plus, the wait was forever. I had heard once that McDonalds was going to build a much bigger one over there.

Probably the fate of the new Exxon at 2818 and Holleman, which has two small spaces but lacks a drive through. That said, I'm still holding out for a "decent coffee shop" or "tasty hole in the wall Mexican restaurant" or something like that.

Target has finished its remodel of the Bryan store. It looks good. All new paint and has a new section at the very front for cell phones, ipads, and ipods. Also carries more groceries. They did a great job!
Was saddened to see Las Molcajetes closed on Saturday (wanted carne seca for breakfast).
