There could be a vetting process if you wanted. Keeping the headcount capped at 20-30 people may make sense too.
I've gotten involved on the planning side of several charity events over the past few years and they make great reasons for people to come together and have fun for a good cause.

Kudos to the taxidermist that did your mt. lion mount below the moose on the fireplace mantle. A lot of talent and experience went into making that form and getting the skin sewn around it. I used to work with some very talented taxidermists and learned to appreciate that level of artistry. You're place is unreal!

- Which do you wish you hadn't killed or done so differently (location, quality of specimen, etc.)?

Depending on the charity the event would be raising money for, very good chance the catering could be donated in kind or underwritten.

The leopard/lion hunt has both the single best and most stories...you are sort of hunting everything to acquire baits when you are hunting them and it puts you in many hunting situations.
Wish I had stayed the final two days and gotten the hyena...we thought the two days was going to be enough and turns out elephants had other ideas. As for the other, wouldn't change a thing
Wish I'd have had my sable mounted a little differently with more of a turn. Mine's head is a little down so the sweep of the horns doesn't look as great due to distance to the wall.

Weight is a few hundred pounds...below is the video of bringing it in the house. Getting on a scaffold and up in the air high enough to mount took all of us...the original animal was on the order of 1500 lbs...we had to wench it off the river bank onto a trailer.lurker76 said:

The habitat is anchored to the wall directly into the 2 x 10 wall studs. The Croc has an internal frame with a mount protruding from the center of the croc that slots into the habitat. The guys have done this many times before. We stressed it as well just to make me feel better. The Croc is essentially the "roof" to my office...
Anything with a long set of horns should get a wall pedestal mount vs just a shoulder mount. That extra turn makes a big difference in really appreciating the size and beauty of the animalB-1 83 said:
