Good news for sure. Obi-Wan was the star of the sequel trilogy. Really happy to have EM back after 20 years.
Kinda wish there was a bit more info there. Is the drop date going to be Fridays for the whole run? Is it still dropping at the ridiculous midnight PT slot?
Either way, I'm hype to basically be getting an Obi-Wan movie on Friday.
So now I can be completely worthless at work on a Friday instead of a Wednesday, and be up from 2-4 AM instead of 2-3 AM. Good stuff.

The premiere(s) happen exactly as Celebration in Anaheim begins. Betting they are putting together official watch parties at the convention as we speak. I'd also bet money that Ewan shows up at said parties.
After seeing these trailers I'm going to be very disappointed if Duel of the fates and Battle of the Heroes don't make an appearance in this series because they make the trailers awesome.

Episode one of Kenobi credits Joby Harold (Army of the Dead, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword), Hossein Amini (Drive, Snow White and the Huntsman), and Stuart Beattie (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Collateral) for the teleplay, with the story credited to Beattie and Amini. The second episode once again features a credit from Harold on the teleplay, with Amini and Beattie getting credit for the story.
Episode three credits Harold, Amini, Beattie and Hannah Friedman, who's best known for Trolls: The Beat Goes On, and Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, and wrote on the upcoming Willow series from Lucasfilm. Friedman and Harold are credited as the sole writers of the fourth episode of the series.
Episode five is the final episode with credits, with episode six still not being revealed. The fifth episodes credits Joby Harold along with Andrew Stanton as the writers. Stanton is without question the most accomplished writer of those who've been credited for work on the series. Stanton has wrote a slew of Disney and Pixar films including all four Toy Story films, Monsters Inc, A Bugs Life, Wall-E, John Carter, and Finding Nemo.

so driving in to work today my mind was rambling and for some reason thought of this scene from rogue one....
now timeline wise the kenobi series for the most part should all be at least (educated guess) 10 years prior to rogue one given the apparent age of luke in the trailer...however, any chance we get a scene thats into the future that has some sort of reference to what is said here?

Obi-Wan helping Bail Organa out during the events of Kenobi does strengthen why Bail decides to contact Obi-Wan instead of Yoda at the start of ANH though.
Although based just on the movies, the line should not be "He served me well in the Clone Wars" but "Yeah, I talked to that guy a couple of times."

not much of a surprise but it sounds like we're getting Force Ghost Qui-Gon in this thing, and that Obi-Wan will first hear his voice while he's fighting Vader
