We are proud to welcome Moses Ingram to the Star Wars family and excited for Reva’s story to unfold. If anyone intends to make her feel in any way unwelcome, we have only one thing to say: we resist. pic.twitter.com/lZW0yvseBk

It's her horrible acting that is irritating. She's trying so hard to be a bada** and it isn't working. She's coming off flat & without range. Plus she is working with pretty bad dialogue like when she was yelling at Obi-Wan's ship as he left the planet.Quote:

What the heck was this all about!?! I thought better and just deleted the rant I typed... let's just say this right here is complete garbage and Disney should be ashamed!Brian Earl Spilner said:There are more than 20 million sentient species in the Star Wars galaxy, don’t choose to be a racist.

I think the actors are doing fine. The story and dialogue just aren't that well-written (at least through two hours).
Why does everything have to be politics. All the time everywhere.aTmLoKi said:We are proud to welcome Moses Ingram to the Star Wars family and excited for Reva’s story to unfold. So is the Grand Inquisitor going to come back or are we just assuming he gets revived somehow in time for Rebels?
Star Wars has become a universe where death is rarely permanent.
- Maul
- Emperor
- Boba Fett
- IG unit from Mando
- Fennec Shand (Boba Fett's partner)
- The sheriff in Book of Boba Fett
- (arguably) Vader
No reason they can't patch the inquisitor back up, too.
Because this would be a genuine way to engage with a fanbase, and Disney is anything but genuine.jokershady said:
Why not try this Star Wars Twitter:
"We are aware that Moses Ingram has been receiving racist comments and death threats for her portrayal of Reva in the new Kenobi series. While we know these people are a small percentage of an amazing Star Wars community and country, we support Moses in all the amazing things she's done! Never turn to the dark side and may the Force be with you!"
How hard was that?
Yea, I currently see it as a writing/direction issue for the character.Aggie_Journalist said:
I think the actress is doing just fine.
I also think back to how poorly the actors who played Jar Jar and Rose were treated and some stories I saw about how much they were hurt by that treatment, so I can totally understand Star Wars wanting to try to nip that in the bud and support their performers.
This is brilliant and comes off much better than beginning your statement with calling people racists.jokershady said:

Yeah this is a bit much.
She's getting all kinds of racist hate comments and death threats. Posted directly to her social media accounts, merely for being in a Star Wars series. Should Disney have seen this coming? Sadly, yes. But at the same time, I don't at all blame them for sticking up for their employee. This isn't some unprovoked woke nonsense. It's a reaction to all the racist lunatics out there literally threatening to kill her.
