Seriously guys, why do y'all respond to him?

Imagine complaining about new characters being different races when you have over a century of movies where 90% of protagonists (probably more in genre flicks) are white males. Or complaining that the bad guys are white in a series where the government is quite literally portrayed as space Nazis, and like, not in a subtle way.
Well said. To express that kind of outrage at going from 90% dominance for over a century to, let's say, I don't know, 70% over the past decade or so, is nothing more than pure, unhinged lunacy. What it's like to feel that outraged and that threatened over something so personally inconsequential, I hope I never know.

the beauty of anonymous message boards is not caring how it sounds and not bothering to filter anything.TCTTS said:
Do you ever not have posts that aren't riddled with asterisks or that, you know, actually sound coherent? I'm not saying Disney isn't woke, but I would try maybe taking a step back from the keyboard more often than not and asking yourself "Does this sound deranged?" before hitting "Post."
lol, are you talking about me? i can't really imagine that at all. because i wasn't complaining about anything remotely related.bluefire579 said:

You just gotta go away for a few weeks now, and then you can troll again successfully.cbr said:lol, are you talking about me? i can't really imagine that at all. because i wasn't complaining about anything remotely related.bluefire579 said:

making idiots out of existing heroes to meet some woke agenda would be something to complain about though, perhaps.
as far as black hobbits, that's an eye roller, but who cares.

Tell me i am wrong?
Anyway, if it was really good, all the bs politics dont bother me
If it just sucks, i dont bother commenting.
If it sucks largely because of intentionally ****ty woke bs, well, i think it deserves all the criticism it gets.
Are you referring to the speed of the potential chase scene, in mph?The Collective said:
I am setting the over/under for chase scenes in E4 at 1.5. Get your bets in now.

Had this incredible thought while taking a crap earlier this morning….
We are DEFINITELY going to see young Leia and Vader meet in this series. It makes sense. Recall their encounter in A New Hope….you could definitely make it canon that they've met before cause Leia's interaction is pretty much…."oh Vader. Course it's you only you would be this crazy" (yes I'm paraphrasing I know this isn't exactly what she said).
So we're gonna have Reva due to how episode 3 ended going, "hey Vader! Here's the bait! This little girl gonna bring the big guy here and you can torture him more or whatever."
And as far as sensing she's his daughter…..why would he? Never sensed it in a new hope so it's cool.
They gonna have some dialogue and boy I hope they don't screw it up. Honestly the way this is shaping I really think the next episode is going to be heavy on the dialogue and setting up the last 2 episodes which could be awesome

SIAP but I am assuming that Vader doesn't know that he has offspring because he thought Padme died prior to child birth. But when does Vader find out he has kids?
I haven't consulted Dr. Google yet... but this was something I just thought about.
That has always been a problem.TCTTS said:
That's a cool/informative scene, but the fact that Owen & Beru KEPT the Skywalker name for Luke makes no damn sense.
OBI-WAN: Hides from Jedi hunters by… dressing like a Jedi.
LUKE: Is hidden from the Empire/Anakin Skywalker by… keeping the last name "Skywalker."
Especially in the wake of this series, with Obi-Wan now knowing Anakin is still alive, why the first thing he doesn't do when he gets back to Tatooine is tell Owen to change Luke's last name/quit calling him "Skywalker," is beyond me.
Love it.helloimustbegoing said:maroon barchetta said:jokershady said:

But we have no idea how common a name Skywalker is - on Tatooine or anywhere in the galaxy.
If there's a great actor named Fred Smith in Hollywood and 10 years later another good actor named George Smith, our first thought isn't "they're related."
