When they meet up for the duel, he has already confirmed he's alive by his Force presence.

If you follow the logic from this series, and especially Part 5, when has Vader given up on anything?

That's even more out of character than him leaving people to die all over the universe.

I didn't say give up. I meant he consciously decides to let him go for whatever reason.

Whatever they do, I just hope it makes sense and doesn't require huge leaps of logic.

Speaking of, I wouldn't be against the idea of a tiny update to changing Anakin's face at the end of ROTJ to what Hayden looks like now, closer to his real age.

I'm assuming you prefer leaving in the random no name actor we see for all of 10 seconds rather than the guy who played Anakin for 2 movies and a series now.

Matter of fact, if they could get current Hayden in some scarred makeup and a bit of CGI touchup, it'd be awesome to throw him into the scene where Luke unmasks him.

Neither of these will ever happen, but you can't tell me that isn't a better change than just about anything Lucas did to ANH.

Her beef is with the Jedi. The Jedi didn't protect her when she needed them the most. That is her motivation to kill them all. Obi Wan and Anakin being the final pieces or her revenge.

But even that is such an irrational response to me... Anakin was the reason the Jedi were unable to protect her. It's not like they didn't want to protect her and other younglings its that they couldn't.

On top of that you would think that she would try to help younglings because of her experience and how she was failed. Instead she kills those trying to help the young force sensitives because she was failed. Just kinda hard to understand.

IF THEY DON'T EDIT A SINGLE THING AND INCLUDE THE OPENING RECAP, CREDITS, LUCASFILM, TITLE BLAH BLAH BLAH THAT STILL LEAVES 97 MINUTES OF TOTAL RUNTIME

however.....if they DO EDIT this like it's supposed to be a movie like had been originally leaked.....then that means......

APPROXIMATELY 137 MINUTES OF TOTAL RUN TIME FOR EPISODE 6 Y'ALL.....

Damn. I'm kind of actually bummed about this. I was hoping to squeak out of this one with a 28 min final episode and then we could all pretend this never happened. You know, just like that questionable decision I made at The Tap back in 1994.

Will also be kind of funny if this final episode is badass and negates everything we've seen up until this point.

Ha, right there with you. It legit bums me out that the finale might actually be movie length. I just want this series to be over and done with at this point.

As to your other point, I see absolutely no chance of the filmmaking/story miraculously getting better, so that's not even on my radar.

But how incredibly awesome would it be if we find out over the weekend that they brought JJ Abrams in to "fix" this because they realized mid-stream how bad it was?

Imagine the opening scene:
Black screen.....a Bacta tank suddenly appears. All you can discern is that a human is in it. Camera rushes in to the face. [Lens flare on the exterior tank as it moves in]

It's Kenobi! His eyes suddenly fly open and he pops to the top.

He looks around and sees a medical droid.

Kenobi: "Droid! Where am I?!"
Med Droid: "Good morning, General Kenobi. You are in the Outer Rim on an undisclosed moon. I am programmed to alert Senator Organa upon your awakening. I will do so now."

Kenobi: [thinking] It was all a dream.

First five episodes don't count and we get the 90 minutes we wanted.

There was always a plan to do a Kenobi movie and that got axed after the Solo film…..so……

What if this last episode is the movie they always wanted to do, and these past 5 episodes were just setting the stage?

I will be absolutely shocked if they drop a 90+ minute episode for this last one. I could maybe see them doing an hour episode. But tripling their usual run-time would be absurd.
