Agreed. I hope they keep some of the raw, tougher, feel of Craig's Bond with the next one. It felt more real and less of a caricature...like Nolan's Batman series.WelchAg said:
I love the Craig Bond movies. Some are better than others, but he injected some much needed life into the franchise. I'll be sad when he is legit finished.

But quite in character as he stands up and adjusts his jacket all nice and proper.Guitarsoup said:The tracking shot was nice, but this was absolute rubbish:MW03 said:
Say what you want about Spectre, but the first 10 minutes or so of that movie are absolutely incredible.

craig has become my favorite james bond and i'd put both casino royale and skyfall in my top 3 bond movies.
that said, the mission impossible franchise has overtaken bond as the best spy franchise. almost to the point where i'd consider putting the character "James Bond" on the shelf for a bit...possibly until Tom Cruise can just no longer perform those ridiculous stunts.
but in the meantime (and i've mentioned this idea on here before), they could expand the Bond Universe by introducing us to some of the other Double-O agents. take a page out of marvel's book and hire different directors to build a universe around the character and just focus on making really good spy movies. i'd love a spy film by any of ryan coogler, edgar wright, taylor sheridan, or kathryn bigelow.
then once you've introduced three or four other Double-O agents, you could do a cross-over or team-up film where we get introduced to the newest, youngest Double-O...james bond

When can I buy tickets?Quote:
Bond vs. Mechagodzilla
who knows, but there have been reports for over a year now that the broccoli family has been considering expanding the bond universe. the initial thoughts were that the expanded stories might be about M, Moneypenny or Felix. i'm merely suggesting that they look at other agents instead.BassCowboy33 said:jackie childs said:

I don't think Broccoli wants to do this. While Bond is a big franchise, it's successfully avoided being mugged into the franchise-spinoff movement. They're very protective of this property. I'm sure once Disney buys it out in twenty years we'll have our Bond spinoffs and alternate Bond universes and Bond vs. Mechagodzilla films.
No way this would happen unless they had each Bond be a different race.jackie childs said:
maybe they'll do "Bond: Into the Martini-verse" and have Connery, Lazenby, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig?
Albert Broccoli was the long time producer/co-procuder of Bond films. His daughter Barbara has his position now.bearamedic99 said:

Lazenby is an Aussie. And Barry Nelson was American.bearamedic99 said:
Isn't he an Aussie? Haven't they kept the Bond actors from the UK?
