They actually had a productive offseason during free agency… imagine that.

shack009 said:Yeah I think of that play that the Ravens threw to Flowers to basically ice the game. Diggs had to navigate some traffic. You see in every other game that defenders are running through traffic to chase receivers. On an important play, the Eagles had two Saints defenders collide to get Goedert wide open for a big gain that helped win it. Have we done anything like that all year?FightinFarrier18 said:Its easy to blame Dak or receivers for not getting open, but at the end of the day McCarthy should be getting the heat because this offense is terrible. Other offenses manage to scheme open less talented WRs than we have, but NFL Jimbo's offense was outdated in GB. That's why him and Rogers had a not so cordial breakupjr15aggie said:FightinFarrier18 said:Same problem they had last year. WRs breaking at the same time and no horizontal movement. Brady was talking about it during the broadcast tooYellerjacket said:It's almost like they're not even running plays.FightinFarrier18 said:Bad playcalling or bad quarterbacking? Let's play the 2.3-second game and see what Dak had available. Did he make good decisions with the football? pic.twitter.com/ADD2H6gell

Mccarthy's play design is abysmal
Holy cow... I watched that before reading the comments... I was thinking it was a "Dak was very poor" film analysis. But as I'm watching it I'm thinking... geez, Dak is completing passes when NOBODY was really even open.
And as I kept watching I'm seeing a bunch of similar routes bringing all the defenders into the same zones. There is nowhere to go with the ball.
Yeah... these particular plays are terribly designed.
I don't know, man. I can see Pittsburgh running for 300 yards against us. Actually, I'm having a hard time imagining them NOT running for 300 yards against us.Panama Red said:

Same. I haven't been this apathetic about football season in general, ever.Yellerjacket said:I have been mired in the apathy stage since Green Bay. It's gonna take a lot to get me out of it.Woods Ag said:

Earliest memory is beating Tampa Bay Doug Williams in the playoffs.batchuser said:Panama Red said:

How many years have you followed the cowboys?
When the front office addressed NONE of the holes in the offseason, I knew how this year would go. I'll still watch because I'm a masochist but I have no expectationsAll I do is Nguyen said:Same. Truth. Just tired of it. Like I said week one. When/if they make an NFC champ game again, I MAY start paying attention againYellerjacket said:I have been mired in the apathy stage since Green Bay. It's gonna take a lot to get me out of it.Woods Ag said:

Well they did bring in 2 veteran DTs, a veteran LB and a new coordinator. They tried it's just not working. I'm shocked at how uncreative Zimmer has been.
On offense yeah the RB room stinks.
unfortunately i have progressed all the way to acceptance. they might win tonight, but this team will lose at least 10 games. and this is the reason why:Woods Ag said:

Redskins and Eagles won't be easy.TyHolden said:
we begin our playoff run tonight.
6 easy NFC East pillow fights to bump up our record and catapult us into a division playoff game.
.....where we will get our asses handed to us.
I'm in northern Virginia quite a bit amongst a lot of Redskins fans. They still call them the Redskins, too.Danny Vermin said:
You're right. Probably split with the Eagles and Redskins.
On another note, I love that most of us still call them the Redskins.

Is that McCarthy's fault?
It's a Zimmer/personnel problem. We haven't invested in a DT in a decade until Mazi and Mazi sucks. All the rest of them are nobodies or over the hill retreads.
And then one of our DEs is really just a pass rush specialist that we spent a top 10 pick on bc we refuse to play him in the middle.
I was kidding. I think the Eagles will be a contender if they are healthy. No idea if they are. Know very little about the Skins.Southlake said:Redskins and Eagles won't be easy.TyHolden said:

Dallas romps tonight, 38-10.
