it's insane. As much as I want to move on from fat mike, we've dug ourselves a hole as the coaching candidacy is trash right now. The ideal thing would be for Mike to go to Chicago and for us to get Aaron Glenn, but we'd have to get so lucky for that to fall into place. And, I like Aaron too much to have him under Jerry anyhow. No good Aggie should be subjected to the Jones family bs.Spaceship said:
Jerry is the biggest moron in sports. He has a head coach with an expiring contract and doesn't appear to know what he's doing for next year yet. The Bears have now requested to speak to McCarthy about their vacancy which means that the Cowboys somehow have managed to not control their own destiny as to who their head coach is in 2025. Meanwhile other teams with actual vacancies are interviewing top candidates.

As Aggies, we can only pray he offers Sark a mountain of cash to be the HC. That's about the only thing I can think of that would benefit my sports fandom.

Agreed. But they'll find away to screw it up. Likely cuz they have no plan at all and will drag their feet and be left standing at the altar and end up with some retread or someone their familiar with like Kellen Moore.

Dak's contracts are a stroke of genius compared to giving in to Zeke's holdout.Agristotle said:

I can understand Jerry getting outfoxed on football matters but I'm still shocked at how a wildly successful businessman like him got absolutely destroyed in negotiations by Dak's team....twice.

Didn't Jerry say his fate was already decided last week? What's this fool waiting on

The one thing I can think is that it feels like when a coach is already picked...but that coach still has a team playing. Goes along with the rumors of Sark to the NFL. I think that would be an awful hire, but Jerry is all about splash.
over under on him getting 5 or more carries? pound the underAgristotle said:
Zeke is in the playoffs, signs with chargers.
Everybody keeps saying this, but I don't think there is really any negotiation when it comes to quarterbacks. Everybody knows what they are going to get paid. It's just a matter of paying them or not paying them.Agristotle said:

Yeah, this is a weird argument. It's just the going rate for upper-echelon QBs. Dak's contract won't be Top-10 by the time it runs out. There are things to whine about. Dak's contract isn't one of them.Yellerjacket said:Everybody keeps saying this, but I don't think there is really any negotiation when it comes to quarterbacks.
