Silver lining is the offense and Dak seemed to find a rhythm in the 4th qtr with little from CD. As it stands, there is way too much pressure on Dak and the OL. The defense needs to figure it out quick or it's gonna be more of the same.

I was impressed with Turpin's ability to step up. Brandon Cook is washed I think. Turpin needs to be the guy to take the heat off of Ceedee, especially if Ceedee is going to have the intestinal fortitude of a 70 year old crohns patientgigem1223 said:

Cowboys have the 6th most cap space in the league going into next year. 0 excuse not to go after some weapons in free agency. Cowboys also have roughly $24mil in cap space this year, so they should definitely look to make some moves before the trade deadline

The Jones Family has been playing the fans for 25+ years. He's not delusional. He knows exactly what he's doing. He's got unqualified people making important decisions (Trust Fund Nepo Baby Stephen) . On top of this and a bigger problem is the overall culture of the organization. I'm NOT blaming this loss on Dak. Dak just did what we've seen Dak do his whole career, and that's rack up stats in garbage time.
The defense is a major issue. We play our All-Pro LB as DE where he gets swallowed up on every run play. I don't know why we don't have him off ball at least on the first 2 downs. He's a dominant pass rusher, yes. He was also a force at LB. We need him filling holes and he can rush on 3rd from anywhere. Stop putting him on the end where a T can put his hands on him and swallow him.

Many players and coaches relax once they get the bag. Maybe they are not even conscious of it, but they just can't bring themselves to do that thing that they hate once they have the big money.

This is something that always frustrates me. So many players get paid and retire on the job. Zeke pulled this crap.
