Like many others, we just caught up with the show today. We love the feel of it and how gritty it is. The acting has been fantastic, the world-building is phenomenal, and the weight of the Empire on the common person is crushing. It sort of sets up Leia's line "The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers".
Going back to the post about how much influence the Nazis have on the Empire, my wife commented on the similarity between the ISB uniform as Meero was putting hers on and Nazi uniforms.
The feeling a person like Andor must have had for getting picked up for being in the wrong place at the wrong time has to be devastating, although as was already posted, he isn't really innocent.
Also, I don't remember seeing it posted, but how ironic is it that the sentence for Andor's "crime" was extended to six years from six months due solely to the heist of the payroll.
