That speech by Kino, and monologue by Luthen was epic. Two amazing actors. Star Wars has never felt so real.

This.

That was incredible. Two of the best monologues I can remember, especially Luthen's, with his cape billowing in the wind like a badass.

"I've made my mind into a sunless space."

What a line (in an episode full of great lines).

What an episode.

As for the prison break, I was literally on the edge of my seat during the entire thing, audibly cheering it on. When Kino yelled "Attack!" I nearly jumped up from my couch.

Overall, this isn't just the best show of the year, it's one of the best shows of the decade so far.

Btw, I need to watch this entire series in a theater, this episode especially.

Considering season two is essentially four three-episode arcs, each one a year in the timeline, it would be so cool if Disney released each arc as a theatrical "movie" every three weeks. Let three episodes air across three Wednesdays on Disney+, but then every third weekend give us the opportunity to go watch all three episodes again, as one "movie," in theaters, even if in limited release.

In all the hoopla, I forgot about Mon Mothma essentially having to wh*re her daughter out for the rebellion. Talk about a sacrifice. Here we were thinking her husband or daughter were ultimately going to rat her out, but of course Gilroy flipped it and will likely make us look at Mon very differently by the time we see her again in the OT, considering the choice she's almost assuredly going to make...

Another fantastic episode!

Damn. Edge of my seat the entire time for the prison break. I was ready to Attack as soon as Kino said so.
Love how they're fleshing out Andor's backstory. It should make Rogue One even better in the future.

Luthen's speech. Mon Mothma's sacrifice. So damn good.

Love this show.

Like the best of sw, the quality of this show is built on other movies/stories, just moved into the sw universe for added color/aliens/blasters/sounds and visuals.

Swashbuckling - lightsabers, ww2 dogfighting - tie v xwing, etc.,

Revolutions begin, prison escapes, all of it. But this is better than the rest of sw because the acting and writing is just really good all around, by any standard, not just sw, and they are taking their time.

This episode crescendos… just like the entire series so far. Honestly, I just can't believe how good and rich this show is. From set design, to acting, to script writing, tie ins, everything.

Holy cow! I hope people are enjoying this cause it's truly a work of art.

Three words... Andy F-ing Serkis.

Since the start of the Disney era, the two Star Wars moments have that have gotten me the most amped have been the Mando S2 finale, and this episode.

Even though I knew Andor (and thus most everyone else) would get out, it was thrilling seeing the breakout happen. Kino's speech was amazing, got some heavy Hunger Games vibes of when the districts finally start fighting back.

Seriously, when the music crescendos and we see that wide shot of all the prisoners swimming away, I nearly choked up. And Andy Serkis saying he couldn't swim...just heartbreaking.

Genevive O'Reilly and Stellan Skarsgard both killed it as usual.

So at the end, there's no way it was just those 2 that made it to land, right? I was kind of hoping we'd get more clarification there, but if we're meant to interpret that everyone else didn't make it, then that is super depressing. I'm hoping we see (or at least hear of) others making it out as well.

By far the best episode of this show.

Btw, Beau Willimon wrote the past three episodes, which have featured some of the best writing of the season, IMO. Willimon was the creator/showrunner of House of Cards on Netflix (though he eventually stepped away), and I can totally see the connection there and why Gilroy hired him. I met Willimon at a friend's concert once, and he was a super nice, unassuming dude. Love to see him knocking this out of the park.
