Wow…I've goofed posts here but my brain, eyes, and hands definitely weren't in sync there….lemme try that again….
We decided to re-watch Andor more in the 3-episodes arc way…so we plan on watching 1-3 this weekend and give it a few weeks before 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12….
Only issue is episode 7 kinda goofs with the 3-episode arc because IIRC episode 7 is kind of a filler episode that kicks off the 3 episode prison sequence of 8-10 so it's not perfect but who cares…
We already watched episodes 1-2 last night and we'll do 3 sometime today….
On the re-watch I'm definitely appreciating the character of Syril Karn a lot more…the way he was written and acted has been a lot of fun to watch again!

The prison arc is some of the best TV I've seen, especially writing. That's what put the show in the upper echelon.
So does anyone think we may learn what happened to Cassian's sister. Because I hate loose ends
I'm guessing yes and no….
My guess is that we never actually see her as an adult…but find out through Cassians story that she is alive and working for the empire….and whatever location she is in we are going to discover that Cassian and the rebels have to blow it up with Cassian knowing she is there…forcing him to sacrifice his sister for the good of the rebellion….
Just something I think would be an interesting idea and something I could see this show doing….
But regardless yes I think we get closure on that story….

seriously or no? I skipped through this thread to post this because of spoilers if I decide to watch.
He was being sarcastic. Andor is must watch Star Wars. IMO the best SW that Disney has produced…and it's not close. (It picks up after the first 3 episodes, so stick with it)

While it's nothing like The Mandalorian in terms of tone, echoing TooTall, it's easily the best Star Wars anything since the original trilogy. Hell, so far it's one of the best ever television series period, at least in terms of big-budget genre fare.

I haven't watched Andor yet, either, but I've been hearing great things so I am going to give it a shot. My only question is, do I need to watch the Mandelorian first? I've only watched two or three episodes of that one. Will I be lost?

4 eps in, and I just dont care about any of the characters, and I dont know where it's going.
I feel like everyone loves this show, and I don't know what I'm missing. It's a bit boring imo.

It simply may not be for you. Don't sweat it though. There are quite a few Star Wars series I haven't watched and I don't really feel like I missed anything.

Yes. I liked it.
Ok. For me getting the backstory on Cassian and all that was what drug me in. I really thought the first several episodes were slower. It really wasn't until episode 6 that I was all in. If you don't like ep6 you just won't like the series.
