What can I say… I really enjoyed the heck out of that episode. The critiques I've read are valid, but I am just a sucker for Vader, and they really gave us some amazing Darth in that episode.
While it was clearly an older Hayden, I didn't care because, frankly, I like this version of him better than 2002 Hayden. He just struck me as superior in every way. Slightly deeper voice, more imposing, and generally more compelling as an actor.
I do wonder… um, were those some sort of friendly-fire training sabers? I never understand movies that show friends swinging with all their might at their sparring partner. I mean, they were taking full swipes at heads.
