The Jedi Tombs reminded me of the Luminara Unduli adventure in Rebels. Where Kanaan and Ezra go searching for Luminara only to find that she was dead and he body preserved by the Empire.

I wonder if the body preserves the force essence of the individual? If a Jedi can sense the presence then they are bound to go looking for them. So the inquisitors may be using that as a trap of sorts.

One thing I find odd is Bonnie Piesse was named among the cast and was a returning actor from the prequels and we never even saw her in the first episode except through those binoculars.

Guessing this means more Tatooine scenes in the finale.

you can't have water come in then their shoes would get wet. Then when they're comically escaping with Leia hiding under Obi-Wan's coat, the imperials would have seen the wet footprints.

or not, they didn't notice scruffy looking obi-wan with a bulge in his coat.

Normally I agree with this, but Obi-Wan SWAM his way into the base. I don't think his clothes were Drip-Dry.

Another thing, I guess he found access to the Imperial Drying Room, ergo he would have laid down a trail of water that even the most dimwitted of troopers should have been able to follow

You people seem to be forgetting this is a TV show. Not a Movie.

For a tv show, I have no problem with the plot holes nor the size or dampness of his robes.

If this was a movie, I'd be disappointed.

finally got around to watching this episode and while it wasn't bad clearly it wasn't what i had been posting about or expecting.....we have 2 episodes left and thus far we've had

no qui-gon
no hayden christiansen (face completed covered and JEJ voice over doesn't count)
no prequel flash backs
no palps
no yoda

and we've had leia get captured twice in 4 episodes....there's still things to like here but boy they could've condensed all this to 3, possibly even 2 episodes and have had this capture be the first time leia got snagged....now we've got so much to cover it seems in 2 episodes i don't see it being written well (somehow palpatine returned)...

would've loved it if obiwan put on the stormtrooper uniform of the guy he killed to tie in a new hope in a creative way (and he's worn clone trooper disguises before IIRC)....and would've made the escape scene at the end a little less silly as they could've made leia look like she was being transported as opposed to being tucked under a big coat....

the tracking beacon thing was a nice touch at the end i feel this episode (and dang near the show) can be redeemed if they go dark on this plot device....here's why:

In A New Hope Tarkin says this to Vader, "I'm taking an awful risk Vader...this had better work."



And why wouldn't he think it would work if it hadn't worked already here? My hope is that episode 5 starts off with Kenobi, Leia, and the others arriving back at their base and within a few minutes the empire showing up like the beginning of The Last Jedi and completely wrecking shop. Gonna be really annoyed if it doesn't play out that way

I have been wondering if Hayden has actually been in the series yet, seeing as we haven't seen or heard from him. We have to get something with his face and voice right?

Didn't we see Hayden plain as day in the tank when they first introduced Vader, before he put on the suit? That was 100% Hayden, albeit in makeup obviously.

In fact, that's another big frustration with this show. The trailers, in combination with the press tour, absolutely set us up for Obi-Wan watching after Luke, along with a fairly sizable role for Hayden. I mean, it was Ewan, Hayden, and Moses doing all the press. Four episodes in, though, and we've had one shot of Luke - the same one from the trailer - way too much kid Leia, and one tiny appearance from Hayden. It's so weird.

Just watched it. Wow, this show is simply convenient plot device after convenient plot device.

We all know Kenobi and leia will survive all of this, yet we have spent 4 episodes with them telling the same story 2 times. If you know the main characters are going to live, we need some other plotline or stakes.

Kenobi in the last episode can barely use the force or hold a saber... and now he can perfectly deflect blasters and hold back the pressure of the ocean? Convenient.

More 3rd sister being super angsty and just not fun to watch.

Nothing with Obi-wan or in this show feels earned. It feels like the dregs of the screenwriting community wrote this mess. I just don't understand how people who literally spend every day focusing on making a tv show can so consistently just seem to call it in and not even care.

Plain as day is a stretch. All we saw is his eyes. It's definitely him, but only because we knew going in.

Edit: Unless you mean the second time we see him. That one was pretty clear.

on top of that, they hyped up the actor playing Owen Lars…..he's only been in the first episode….
