I still can't get over that they had a Grand Inquisitor look exactly like the one in Rebels and just killed him off. Given the blatant rip off of Fallen Order, maybe they don't care about the non-live action canon?

Least surprising moment: TC stays up til midnight, watches it, hates it, says he how much he hates it, rips it apart, then gets ready for the next episode.

Last, I'm confused at how sharp light sabers are. The first stormtrooper Ben took out, took 4 blows but the armor wasn't penetrated. Are lightsabers sharper than that?
You misinterpret me. I'm saying how did you miss that it was the droid? That's what makes me wonder if you're paying attention, not that we have different opinions (and I'm not sure we do, I still haven't figured out if I like this show or not. It's so....fine.)Brian Earl Spilner said:"I dislike the show, so everyone who likes it is not paying attention."Ag Since 83 said:I guess one way to enjoy a show is to not pay attention to it.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Now that's more like it. Always a sucker for a good mission episode.
Seeing Obi-Wan finally return to form was so enjoyable. Especially when he trapped the stormtroopers in the water.
Did Reva really put a tracker on the ship, or was she lying to save her ass? She definitely didn't look like she was close enough to the ship, but could be an editing trick to make us doubt her.
This episode was....fine. I've pretty much given up on this show being great.
Mkay.

Yeah, it seriously felt like damn near anyone could gain access to that place, considering there were basically zero exterior defenses.

True. But let's be honest here, his criticisms are pretty damned valid week-to-week.
I no longer let myself get hyped for any Star Wars IP to avoid the disappointment these days, which has allowed me to slightly enjoy this series. I mean, I will always watch someone using a lightsaber in battle.
You're definitely entitled to voice your opinion. I just don't get why you keep watching it when you seem to dislike pretty much every decision they're making.TCTTS said:BJM1781 said:

People act like I *want* to dislike this stuff, or like I'm just sh*tting on it willy nilly. When, in truth, I want nothing more than for this stuff to be great, and I always explain my critiques/back them up with examples. Not to mention... a lot of people here seem to agree with me. Apologies for sharing my genuine reactions, but the need here from some of you to always sing Kumbaya when it comes to Star Wars discussion is pretty weird.
Crazy that Fallen Order still has probably the most interesting and affecting Star Wars story this side of TLJ (and for all the shit Cal got pre-release he’s a more compelling and rounded character than any of the Disney+ ones)

Really, genius? We’re talking about the franchise which spearheaded virtual cinematography using very similar tech to today’s games. “Looking like a video game” is literally the aesthetic Lucas pioneered, to often incredible effect pic.twitter.com/AIRImZuCtm
I would say so, yes, considering a trillion dollars get thrown at these Disney+ shows in what should be visually striking, splashy franchises and the house aesthetic for every single one of them seems to be ‘make it look as simultaneously borong and artificial as possible’

I forgot earlier, I bet you were stoked to see Obi-Wan's rebreather from TPM back in play. I kept waiting for some godawful monster to appear underwater.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Glad people are finally appreciating Lucas' direction, and the prequels' production design.
