Hopefully we are done with 9 to 5 Obi-wan. Driving his vehicle to the park-n-ride, then taking mass transit to his mind numbing job, clock in, work, clock out, then mass transit back to the park-n-ride, and finally back home.

i didn't mind that actually I thought it was balanced enough with what else happened in the first episode to show how mundane his solitude has become and yet he doesn't want to leave it because of Luke…tk for tu juan said:

Yeah, if anything I thought that part was the good part. He's resigned himself to this mundane life until Luke is older.
The bad part was like... everything else that happened on Tatooine. The inquisitors are chasing a random Jedi, who finds Obi Wan (?), at one point the inquisitors are within like 20 feet of Obi Wan and don't realize it, they find the random Jedi and kill him (off screen for some reason), Reva knows of the connection between Obi Wan and Bail Organa AND knows that Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker but doesn't know of the connection between Skywalker/Obi Wan and this exact planet that they're on? She doesn't use the mind probe trick on Owen, which could have given her some really crucial info.
And then none of that really matters anyway because her big trap for Obi Wan involves Leia who's on another planet. That entire sequence took place presumably just to show that Obi Wan was willing to let another Jedi die to protect his (and Luke's) identities.
There's just a lot of lazy writing in that whole sequence. Nothing is truly an outright plot hole, but it involves several cosmic coincidences for no real reason.

I think that the destruction of Coruscant in that fashion is one of my biggest gripes with the ST (there are many). Seemed so out of place and didn't even have an impact on anything else from what I remember.

I was bout to say... Unless I've missed something major then Coruscant is still very much a planet.
I think it says a lot about the sequel trilogy that several people seem to think Coruscant got blown up.
