I love star wars and Ewan McGregor, but this is objectively bad. I looked up the credits and of the 3 main executive producers, this series is a Kathleen Kennedy special delivery. Makes sense that she is defacating some of Dave Feloni's original ideas (i.e. Grand Inquisitor)

The Jedi robe/indigenous tatoonian dress thing does bug me.
They had it right in empire, that Luke and Ben in star wars were dressed like natives not jedi.
So in that context Ben flying around in his robes while trying to be anonymous makes sense.
But with the prequels making those clothes Jedi uniforms, he is basically running around wearing a "hello there, my name is obi wan" sticker on his lapel like he's at a mixer

I assumed anything Palpatine was doing before the big reveal was unknown to Anakin. So if he was reasonable for the Inquisitors, it'd be I know to Anakin.

Can't find the comic panel, but Sidiois started the Inquisitorius after Vader was in the suit and everything. He'd planned it before, but the idea couldn't even happen without the former Jedi to use as the basis.

Just thinking of ways we could see Anakin that wouldnt just be stuff that was already filmed in the movies, and that rules that out.

The 3rd sister actress needs some acting lessons. She is not believable.

Just finished the first two episodes, thought it was pretty good.

I loved the recap. My only complaint is the generic music they put on top, with the wealth of John Williams that they could've put over top of it. A bit of an odd choice.

Ridiculous take. Smits is great. Kessel is good and believable as Queen Breha (and what a great Star Wars name!) and has lived up to the strong female leader archetype that has always permeated Star Wars. Egerton is great. The young Leia really captures Carrie and Padme I think... whether that's the writing or acting I guess you could argue. That she's not convincing in running away from mercs and Jedi doesn't seem like a dig on the acting.
I think Friend is good as the Grand Inquisitor even if I don't love his look. Moses as Reva doesn't seem to work well but honestly it's the physical stunts that look off. I don't know that I have a problem with her as she goes around threatening everyone.
