Compared to the other Disney SW series. This is horrible. Is it Intentional? Tribute to Lucas?
I don't know what it the most awful - the acting, screenplay, or directing v
Phantom menace is smiling. Post Jedi Lucas was blasted for how bad it was but the history made it endure. If this is purposely a throwback to the "good old days" pretending phantom menace was worth repeating…episodes one and most of two were justifiably panned at the time. You're fooling yourselves if you suddenly think they needed to be repeated.

Wow. So much to unpack here. From the anger out of nowhere to the freezing cold take.
Your opinion is bad; and you should feel bad.
Bad acting, writing, and directing.
Sorry your Santa isn't real.
Good of you guys to make sure to continually remind them that they can't enjoy something you think is bad, then.Teacher_Ag said:Garrelli 5000 said:Glad the posts that follow agreed.BenFiasco14 said:Garrelli 5000 said:

Some fans just badly want anything Star Wars to be good, to the point that they lower their standard reeeeaaaaaally low. Truth is that everything made after the original trilogy has been as much miss as hit. Not ruling Kenobi out already but yeah episode 1 was disappointing for sure.

It isn't about what she can sense, it's about shows/movies that write dialogue where kids who look 8 speak like college students with an instant, witty, over the top response. It reminds me of the youngest daughter from 7th Heaven who solved all over her families problems. It's just corny writing.

I think the simple fact that Third Sister is/looks human is why they will redeem her. That was a calculated decision because we can relate to her. It's easy to write off the other three as evil and unredeemable because while humanoid they are alien looking and thus..."not real" and not relatable.
So, basically, Star Wars is racist against aliens.
suffer through the third one….YouBet said:
Watched first two episodes only.

Y'all can for sure enjoy whatever. I'm bummed because I wanted to enjoy it more but the production value is just poor so far. There are enough redeeming qualities to keep me invested, just hope it gets better.

Yeah, just think about all the hate thrown at Chewbacca over the decades.
And Admiral Ackbar.
And Ahsoka Tano.
And Yoda.

Confused on the grand inquisitors death. Maybe not dead or else they are messing up canon?
Was stated previously he can't be dead if it's same GI from Rebels because that then screws up the timeline. So he's either not really dead or it's not the same GI.Dro07 said:

Should have opened with Kenobi running a Cinnabon at the mall in Mos Eisley.Teacher_Ag said:Duncan Idaho said:

I like how when Star Wars wants to establish that an old hero is jaded and washed up they're going to have you doing something menial like milking walrusmen or carving meat out of a giant dead insect. They can never just be a space receptionist or insurance salesman like real jaded adults.
