Better than I expected after the mess that was the last GOT year. Pleasantly surprised even though the reviews had been good.
This is probably recency bias on my part, but it seems like they took a lesson on from BCS. The prequel can be more character and detail driven because people already know the world and want that deeper dive or nostalgia. And the new characters seem rich and well written to this point.

They did such a good job of introducing the characters. This show is gonna be so good especially because they established early how flawed the Targaryens are. I think it was a perfect start

Maybe, but it seems to be the same prop from GoT. Also it seems that nobody writing about the episode tonight saw that blurb from the show runner. Every single article/video I can find tonight are saying it is the catspaw dagger.

The same dagger is also in a book at the citadel.



Maybe it is not the dagger, but there are too many things that line up for it to not be.

My guess is it is, and we will eventually get a name for it as it seems like a pretty important dragon glass dagger.
