I legit teared up when Laena was crying "Dracarys" to Vhagar. Just thinking about how we feel when we have to put our pets down... imagine how our pets would feel if it was the other way around.
Hmmm ... I would say Larys and Daemon likely do suffer consequences. Their stories are not complete yet. And that is no spoiler I honestly don't know their fates.Batzarro said:
This episode gave me stress and each episode I switch which team I'm on.
The real "shocker" and improbable scene was Clubfoot Larys murdering his brother and father so casually with zero consequences. This is especially in contrast to how he seemed to be friendly with his brother in prior episodes.
The plot showing consequences for some's reckless behavior (Harwin, Rhaenyra) and not others' (Christin Cole, Larys, Daemon) is not all cool with this viewer.

I could be wrong, but I feel like they were trying to give us the impression that she was able to make the dragon understand she was in pain and dying.GreasenUSA said:

Would have said the same thing about losing Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark in season 1 of GOTSaxsoon said:
Paddy has ben one of the best parts of the show. When he leaves that is gonna really suck
I do not think that is how Harrenhal burned and I agree, it was said to be dragons who burned it. When they sent Harwin to Harrenhal I thought maybe he would die in the future during a war where dragons go to Harrenhal and I was wondering if Rhaenyra might have been the one who did it.bonfarr said:
So was that supposed to be how Harrenhal burned ? I thought it was burned by dragon fire during a war.

Paddy is good, but I'm guessing he dies next episode. He's hanging on by a thread. He's a weak man and isn't putting his wife into her place; she's fomenting treason right under his nose.
There is not a world I could pretend she is a dudeInternetFan02 said:
Margaery couldn't make it happen either…at least she tried

Just not digging it that much. I felt the dragon mother and failed birth scene, but overall i think the new actresses were not necessary or effective and the story just isnt maintaining my attention as it should.
It is all clearly about to blow up though.

Very interesting dynamic developing.
We went from Alicent being an unwitting bad guy (a tool of a power hungry Hand) and Rhaenyra being on the good side, to Alicent seemingly being the good side. Sir Criston Cole thinks as much, as he knows the deal Rhaenyra tried to strike with him, and knows she is having illegitimate heirs to the iron thrown. At his core the man is honorable and loyal, and is trying to earn back his honor in his own mind. The fact that Alicent just had the Strong's scorched shifts her out of the side of good. Just took an interesting turn for sure.
