The first 3 or 4 episodes were great but the middle has been bogged down as it's essentially just court proceedings during these middle episodes. I'm sure it will pick up a little at the end. I just finished episode 7

One episode to go! Binged watched this yesterday and I like it. I also enjoy murder mysteries/court room dramas.

Can't wait to see the finale and I'm surprised I never heard this story. The murder in question was in late 2005 and the trial didn't start until 16 months later.

Made it through episode 5 so far. Such an interesting (and scary) story. Amazing the filmmakers worked on it for 10 years.

Just got to the part where they found the blood tube that was no longer sealed and the top punctured. After knowing there were no prints from Avery in the car but only blood.

What in the ****.

Hope this get the West Memphis 3 and Serial treatment to help this guy out.


I'm thinking she was killed elsewhere by someone close to her. One of the cops found her car, burned her body, and planted everything on he Avery property while they were at the hunting camp.

I would put my money on Scott Taydach being involved in the murder. The cops/sheriff's department took advantage of an opportunity.

How anyone on that jury could convict Steven Avery beyond all reasonable doubt baffles me.

Very intense. Just got to the blood scene.
There is so much shadiness going on, back from 85, to the cover up during his release, to the new murder of Teresa. The hardest part to watch is everything with Brendan, that poor kid has no idea how or what is going on. This definitely keeps you hooked and I hope it has a happy ending.

I liked it better than The Jinx (that ending aside tho), but thought it was a notch below Serial S1. Criticisms of Koenig and her approach aside, I thought she did a good job of creating a story and putting alternative theories forward. This show was a little more objective, but basically just makes it seems like the cops were the only alternative. So for me it comes down to preference in technical accuracy vs. soap opera storytelling, and I just prefer the Serial soap.

Great show though, worth the investment.

Just finished the last episode. Think that was the best documentary I've ever seen.

Two or three times I had to consciously remind myself this really happened. Just shocking.

I hope I never get arrested and have to go through the judicial system.
Those two lawyers are top notch. They are working the court room. All the dna objections and findings, to the bullets, bus driver, they are poking so many holes it's hard to say without reasonable doubt that Steven did it. Poor Brendan, every time I hear him talk to his mom it breaks my heart. "My lawyer likes cats, I like cats too! "
