AWB, Maguire, and Hojlund might be available for Liverpool in a week's time. So that's something I guess.
Couple days away from the FA Cup game and I'm fully on team "Just give me a good performance even if it means a bad result".
I'll be disappointed in not winning the game if we happen to play well enough to win, but I would far prefer that over winning 1-0 but Liverpool absolutely throttles us and we manage to score the one and only time we manage to create something.
Winning is fun but this season is already in the toilet. I prefer to see something that gives me some glimmer of hope that next season could actually be OK rather than some BS lucky win in this game or even a BS lucky run that ends up winning the whole thing.
Of course the far more likely scenario is that we get throttled and we deservedly lose the game.

Maguire, AWB, Hojlund (!), and Mount (!!) are apparently available for the game tomorrow. Would be stunned if either AWB or Mount started but Maguire and Hojlund might as neither were unavailable for an extended period of time.
That sounds great. But all I can think of is them trotting out Luke Shaw before he was really ready 3 weeks ago. And that didn't end well at all.
True but 1) it's Luke "the Glassman" Shaw and 2) they're kind of at the point of no tomorrow. If you wait till their 100% then the season is likely effectively over by the time they come back.
Well Casemiro injured himself so McTominay and Mainoo in the middle. AWB does start as does Hojlund and Maguire.

Really surprised AWB is starting. And I've never been a fan of Dalot at LB but if Lindelof is the alternative then I guess I get why ETH is going all in on AWB after a prolonged spell out.
