I would say being outshot 12-9 by a NF team with less than 40% possession means we are going for embarrassment today.
United have had at least 5 chances from very good positions and either scuffed the shot horribly or didn't even get it off. Just woeful finishing.
89th minute game winning goal. Which should surprise no one at this point (not necessarily that we scored it but rather that it was scored).
Probably did just enough to deserve the win but wouldn't call it a fantastic performance. Liverpool in the QFs. Won't be pretty.

Marcus Rashford has some things to say and I, for one, am here for it.

Football ability aside, he has always struck me as an incredibly real and honest person. He just seems more authentic and less polished (in a good way) than most if not any other footballer.

I really like Marcus as well, but good gosh has he made it tough this year. He doesn't try much to help on defense, and he's not a great creator for other people. When he is scoring, though, none of that matters. I keep thinking, "well, he will find his form eventually" but here we are in February and our top scorer is Scott Mctominay.

He's definitely had a tough season and not performed at a level that I would want. Probably as much a mental issue as it is a talent issue. I'm projecting a bit (a lot) but I get the sense that maybe this was his way of trying to get his mind right. Getting some stuff off of his chest as a form of catharsis.
Regardless of what he does or doesn't do, I respect the hell out of him. Can't read that and not get a sense that he just feels differently about United than everyone else. And I mean that's kind of the whole point of all of this, right? Sure we all want to see great performances and win things but, for me anyway, it's maybe even more special for the players to care...like really care...about the club. You can't read that article and not feel the love he has for the club. It's a cliche to a degree but it's a part of him. Not an easy thing to find these days.

Fun fact. I read an opinion piece on a site that I regularly visit the gist of which was more or less "Yeah, we don't believe you're devoted because if you were devoted you performances would have been better."
