MCL sprain. In the range of possible outcomes, we were hoping for sprain. If I would have bet money, I would have bet on partial tear to be honest. (*not a medical professional, but I have stayed in a Holiday Inn.). Well, other than whatever United training staff thought it might be that he would just play on… I guess that was more optimistic.

Means he effectively out for the season (yes, 8 weeks puts his return at early April but he likely won't be match fit till a few weeks later which means he's back for 3-4 games max).
But this season is already a lost season so most important thing is that he's fully fit and ready go come August which is fantastic news. Or at least as fit as one could expect after playing in Copa America.

Watched most of the Villa/Chelsea FA Cup game last night. Villa looked horrible. So many cheap giveaways in midfield and some non-existent effort/marking on the first two goals. I'd like to see them perform just as horribly this weekend but my guess is that Emery will have them motivated and corrected come Sunday. Chelsea probably woke them up a bit.

He missed the one he should have given on Varane. The one on Mainoo the AVL player was sneaky. The AVL player slowed down to get run over from behind.
