It was a good call, Marisnick went out of his way and changed direction to truck the catcher. Had he stayed on line, game would have been over.
Disagree. Catcher was off the plate blocking the path before he had the ball. So what does Jake do? Stop in his tracks and wait for the catch so he can be tagged out?Quote:

If he goes straight and doesn't change direction, he's safe and game is over without any issues.Social Media Influencer said:Disagree. Catcher was off the plate blocking the path before he had the ball. So what does Jake do? Stop in his tracks and wait for the catch so he can be tagged out?Quote:

Their catcher has a concussion and a broken nose. Jake put a hurtin' on him.schmellba99 said:If he goes straight and doesn't change direction, he's safe and game is over without any issues.Social Media Influencer said:Disagree. He may have been trying to go inside to avoid the tag, but that's impossible to really to tell. It was the changing of direction and subsequent smoking of the catcher that got him called out.
Either way, the good guys won and it didn't matter much.
exactly this. All the tards who said the stros would have the division locked up and a double digit division lead by the all star break can go to hell.David_Puddy said:
Hate to say that games in July are "must wins" but really need to take these next 2 and keep some space between the A's right now until Hinch figures out the 3-5 hole sh-t show of a pitching rotation. A's are on fire right now and currently sit at 4 games back.
