I think we need to move Bregs, Brantley and Yordan around. I'd probably flip Bregs and brantkey. Bregs is seeing the toughest pitches in the line up right now and Brantley is a consistent hitter that the move wouldn't phase. .

I think Kyle Tucker is gone. Yordon has filled what they hoped he would become. Not zure who they get in return, but I trust Luhnow.

Never believed the hype on Tucker anyway.

I still think Tucker has a very good chance at becoming a solid player. However, I would be that Luhnow is more willing to part with him now that Seth Beer seems to be performing pretty well in AA.

Reddick is under contract until 2021.

I think the big question in a trade is Crane's stated intention to not exceed the luxury cap. If that's the case in order to compete year in and year out you need young guys outperforming their initial contract.

If the luxury cap is going to be a firm cap for the Astros you kind of need to wager on a guy like Tucker being a big contributor over the next few years while you let the other guys walk while getting much bigger contracts.

I just don't know if Crane and Lunhow are all in on one year or looking at the next 5. Remember they didn't make a deal 2 years ago and basically had Verlander fall in their lap because they could afford it and everyone else thought his performance didn't match his contract.

If Syndergaard is really on the block, I would try to make a deal for him 1st. I would give up Correa for him (only if we aren't resigning Correa)

side point, Reddick is having the best year arguably of his life.

I am SHOCKED by this. I didn't think anyone would trade a ham sammich for White. Now that might be out of fear White would eat the ham sammich before the deal is even done but still figured White would just quietly be sent to find his next path in baseball on his own.
