Hard to do anything when they call that pitch 6" inside a strike...utter bull sheet!
Story of the series. Each pitcher gets their own zone.
This strike zone is baffling. I don't get as mad as most about that sort of thing... all I ask is that it stays the same.
I used to be against the idea, but this series has convinced me that it is a good idea to automate the ball and strike calls. Let the ump deal with everything else, but we need to take the human factor out of the calling of balls and strikes, because these guys have been terrible at it this series.

Altuve hasn't done anything meaningful this whole series. That ends in a few minutes. Springer Dinger followed by Altuve blast. Cole man up for two innings and we win in the 11th.

I could've taken losing in 2017 since dodgers were better team that year. Didn't mind losing to 108 win red Sox team last year.
This is a complete gut punch. Very tough to take. If 2-1 pitch to Soto that was clear strike was actually called a strike maybe greinke continues cruising. But at 3-1 you can't give Soto a fat one and the rest is history.

Even losing Cole the Astros will be clear favorite to win west next year. Just need to win division every year and keep churning out opportunities. And hope to get hot in playoffs.

Man that hurt, still glad I got to go to a ws in person. Tough to get to, tough to win. Can't wait till joto gets his ribs broke next year.
