Another thing I didn't like was the 3rd Sister's knowledge that Vader is Anakin. That was known by like 3-4 people tops. How does she know about it? She only needed to mention Vader for Kenobi to know what it meant. Needless for her to know it

Agree, but I think they're setting up that there's something different or special about her. She's "owed" something by Kenobi. She obviously aspires to be Vader's apprentice. The other Inquisitors look down on her which makes her stand out.

I'm wondering if there's any room for her to have been Kenobi's next apprentice, or maybe was SUPPOSED to be but he set her aside, or something.

Thinking through random things... Seeing Morrison as the clone trooper was awesome.

Kinda wondered if we'd see a cameo of Sarah Michelle Gellar as Seventh Sister but I think that moment has probably passed.

Grand Inquisitor could also be a clone, meaning there's more than 1 out there.

I kinda think we'll get a glimpse of the Imperial cloning research in And or so that might make sense.

First time we see "Leia" she's using a decoy. Just like her mama.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I was watching Leia get chased in the forest. And then by God, they did a second chase scene in the second episode. The character movements in this show look so incredibly slow and over the top that it's realllllly hard to look past.

At least the settings look great.

yeah, my guess is the actress just isn't that quick, but she's supposed to be. So they have the adult actors exaggerate being too slow. It looked terrible

I'm thinking the same thing. It seems there is a rift between the Inquisitors, those that started from the start being trained as Inquisitors and the ones that had trained as Jedi. Would explain the competition and the need to prove herself. Just my opinion.

So far.....meh. The music is completely nondescript, not Star Wars, and boring. I can't believe they aren't using at least a few classic cuts.

Agree with others that the Queens Gambit gal, while fantastic in that show, is terribly miscast here. She seems forced into this show. She doesn't even feel like Star Wars. I don't want to see her again.

And the chase scenes....my god.....maybe the worst film making I've ever seen in a show that has this much anticipation. The little girl looks to me like she has a slight disability when she runs. Her legs don't move normally. And then you highlight that not once....but twice??? And then have adults going out of their way to not just reach an arm out and stop her??? And then she's one pace away but then in the next scene she's managed to get 30 feet away????

WTF was that and what were they thinking?

First episode was solid, second episode was meh. I also don't like the third sister. The Grand Inquisitor was by far better, and now he's gone.

I hope we don't have to put up with Leia this entire series. She is getting really annoying, quick.

Also, what director films those chase scenes and thinks, "Yeah... this looks great! Let's go with that!" Design the forest better with thicker brush, and let it be here ability to parkour through the tight spaces that lets her run away. Or something similar with tight spaces in the city. Just a stupid choice to make as a director, imo.

So far, the best best scene is by far the short scene of Order 66. God, that had me immediately emotional and audibly yelling expletives.

Not going to lie, I really didn't love it. Something just felt off and I can't explain it. I get how they tied it directly to episodes 1-3 as a stage setter, but I don't look too fondly on that trilogy. Linking it so closely just lumps this in and makes me realize how poorly it was executed. Maybe that's not fair to this, but I can't escape it.

Yes. I think that scene may have eaten up about $140M of the total $170M budget though.

I'm good with it.

So far, the three best lightsaber scenes we've gotten from Disney have not been in the main sequels.

1. Luke in the Mandolorian
2. Darth Vader hallway
3. Order 66 in Kenobi

All three of those now surpass any lightsaber scenes in Episodes 7,8, adn 9.

The sister inquisitor was I think one of the children in the order 66 scene otherwise why focus on those kids.

I was excited for this, but I would say I have mixed feelings about it. The chasing the kid around was pretty horribly shot and the Sister inquisitor is really over the top, cheesy, and annoying.

After Mando I'm not going to **** on anything until we see the complete product. It gave some bad episodes but also gave us some of the best Star Wars in decades.

Are the chase scenes all shot in the medium? Between that and Vespa chase, they've gotta get better at filming and shooting those.

Some comics, a lot of it is from the Rebels show. They were captured Jedi that were basically tortured and brainwashed by the Emperor. Clone Troopers weren't going to be able to hunt down the remaining Jedi in hiding. It was gonna take Vader and other force capable disciples to do it.

The Grand Inquisitor is a former Jedi Temple Guard.

Yeah, but their first appearance wasn't really explained? They were just there as if they had always been around.

Chase scenes: good gracious it was like something out of Power Rangers level bad….there's no way 3 grown adults couldn't immediately grab a 10 year old girl….2nd episode wasn't much better regarding that.

3rd sister: you're trying to look tough but your "Er look at me I'm so full of angst and evil" face looks like a little girl pouting that she didn't get her pony for Christmas….not buying you in the role but willing to still give it a chance.

Little Leia: was a little annoying at times but mostly really loved her and I thought channeled the character of Leia really well.

Tatooine: awesome so far! Little ship Easter egg was nice. Jawa scene felt authentic and cool. Owen and Kenobi first encounter on screen was nails.

Fake Jedi: boooooooooooo. But the series is young.

Grand Inquisitor: ok hear me out….what if it's just not the same guy? So many people were commenting on how the face, makeup, and overall look is too different than Rebels….so what if this one is dead??? Vader finds out and goes, "alright…time to promote the next guy." Could be a kick butt reveal.

3rd sister lightsaber: was it just me or did the effect on her saber seem to be off????? All the saber effects during the order 66 scene seemed fine….but every time she's shown hers….man I don't know it just looks like they tried something different and it ain't working for me.

Obiwan: glad to have you back!!!!

Ending of episode 2: definitely didn't expect to see that ending with Vader in the tank.

Last note: ALL of what we've seen in the trailers for this show were the first 2 episodes. That planet was built up quite a bit during the hype and they're already off it so other than a few little scenes on the inquisitors base everything we see from here on out will be new.

Overall, I give it 3 out of 4 random chick chopped off hands

Everything except the shot of the Inquisitor landing at the Inquisitor base in the ocean, and Vader getting his armor put on.

But love that they've held everything back from the last 4 episodes. It could really go anywhere from here.

Im surprised at the negative vibes, man

I enjoyed it. It wasnt a huge WOW, but a very solid sw show. So far so goood.

Leia is just what she figured to be. Take the good with the bad.

By far the weakest is the sister. The i quisitors are kind of weak too. But they came from a pretty weak cartoon
