Imagine driving by or walking in Santa Monica and seeing Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker walking down the street together. I lived right there at that time, too. I would have lost my mind. The closest I ever came was standing next to McGregor in line at Whole Foods in Brentwood once. He had long hair at the time, too, just like Obi-Wan, and that was the most star struck I'd been in a long time.

Also, notice that he references standing across from "Anakin" on set - while filming a scene as Obi-Wan - and that Christensen's "face hadn't changed" (since 2004). I'm thinking that could mean flashbacks, to the Clone Wars or thereabout, as I just can't image them needing/wanting/making such a big deal about Christensen joining to simply stand around in a Darth Vader suit for days/weeks on end.

I'd lose my **** if I saw that. Only time it's ever happened to me was with Michael Emerson.

And yeah flashbacks are pretty much expected at this point from me. But I also think we'll get a scene of maskless Vader in his pod like in Empire. (Which I'm fairly sure is in that picture of him I posted earlier.)

Are there any other possibilities from Clone wars, Bad Batch, or even rebels to be in this?

Omega would be interesting one. Kanan only if he doesn't meet Obi Wan, but that doesn't make sense for the show. The one to blow peoples mind would be Han. Does the timing of this happen after he gets the Falcon or before? I think this is 10 BBY and Han movie was earlier

Solo is ten years before ANH, and Kenobi is 10 years after ROTS, with a 19-year gap between ROTS and ANH. So, yeah, this will be a year or so after Han gets the Falcon. That said, if they meet before ANH, this galaxy would continue to feel too damn small. Would much rather they not.

Obi lives on Tattooine. Han will smuggle for Jabba whose bases closest star port I believe is Mos Eisley right?

Although saying that I would probably rather see them almost meet but don't. Like he ends up meeting Andor or something.

Why not? She already basically looks ageless in the role as is. That, and if they can recreate ROTJ-era Luke Skywalker, they can easily make Dawson's Ahsoka appear as "young" as they want.

Guess it depends on when in the Clone Wars, but Ahsoka is 14 at the beginning and looks every bit of it. Dawson looks great as an adult, early 40s Ahsoka. I'm not sure she can pull of 14-17 Ahsoka.

There is a fairly decent height gap in clone wars between ahsoka and others. Could have someone else shorter step in and would be awesome if they got Ashley eckstein to ADR the younger version

In the EU novels Corran Horn, a Jedi who had formerly been a police detective, points out to Luke how stupid that was, and that it makes no sense for Luke to have assumed that they were trying to hide him. His theory is that they were dangling him as bait for Vader so that Obi-wan could try to kill him.

Ashley Eckstein would be an incredible casting for a teenage Ahsoka and the animated fan base would love it. But I feel like any flashbacks are probably going to be closer to the end of the Clone Wars when Ahsoka has matured some and her voice is deeper, which would be better with Dawson for continuity.

Would love to see a flashback where Obi-Wan is confronting him about how much time he's spending with Palpatine and Padme.

If the Book of Boba Fett writers are involved, the scene will be like.


Clone Wars Obi-Wan: "Hey, Anakin, you're not turning to the Dark Side, are you?"

Clone Wars Anakin: "Nope!"

Clone wars Obi-Wan: "OK, thanks."

If anyone wants to watch the Obi-Wan / Satine arc of CW before the show -- Mandalore Plot arc, S2 Eps 12-14.

And the Shadow Conspiracy arc (S5 Eps 14-16) seems to wrap that up and also ties into Mando.

Gonna put these on between AOTC and ROTS when I do my rewatch of the PT.
