Aegon the Conqueror wouldn't be much of a show because every show would end with someone resisting the Targs and getting burned to ash for it.

Don't ever look into the British royal family.
To be fair, while the royal houses in Europe went way further than you or I would ever want to, there weren't any straight up brother/sister marriages. In Britain there haven't been any uncle/niece marriages that I can think of.

But to put it into perspective, by the time WW1 broke out, the Heads of State of England, Germany and Russia were all first cousins.
