Not that this board is the end all be all of pop culture but it seems like a really bad sign that there were 2 months of no posts, and nobody posted the new trailer from 3 days ago at all.

I am excited after seeing the recent trailer. Wife is slightly less excited because the dragon cgi doesn't look as good as GoT.

The Dance of Dragons lasted 3 years. If they are smart, they will limit this to 3 seasons and not drag it out further
Looks like HBO has upgraded all of the Game of Thrones seasons to Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on HBO Max. Wonder if that means we can expect it for the new GoT series as well?

I've heard that story also. Assuming it's true, I don't see how it could be airtight. Someone will inherit the right to his books. Maybe his wife will inherit it and respect his wishes not to let anyone finish the story.
